HLG or Growers Choice ROI series are top notchThank you for the info. I'm really sorry about your situation. I hope it did not ruin your grow. Anytime a manufacturer makes a large change it make me leery of using that product. I am looking at buying from HLG. I have heard great things about their lights.

It's actually stuffed up 3 grows a bit , just bought a migro array 5 X5 U can hang them low with good light penatration, and a good price with over 4500 leds in it ,not the lm301 but the lm281 just twice as many ,have a good day.HLG or Growers Choice ROI series are top notch
I've been growing for a long time started with HPS and ran HID for flower until just this year as I couldn't find anything I could trust in my flower room until I found this:Thank you for the info. Another light looked at but bit of over kill for me but the grand master is a beast and rayon (I think that's the brand )HLG or Growers Choice ROI series are top notch
I personally feel that stepping away from meanwell drivers is a huge mistake. I was going to buy the sf4000 2023 model until I noticed you were no longer using meanwell. I bought a used 2022 model instead. You were giving people exactly what they wanted. Quality products and quality diodes. Sosen drivers are OK power drivers but they are not meanwell. Granted that any power supply can fail, but the likelihood of other drivers failing before a meanwell is why we trust meanwell. You are disappointing your fan base. At this point after these boards are done, over and toast I will probably be making the dredded switch of brands yet again. I can't help but feel many others will as well. I am not mad or upset, I just want to be clear that people trusted your lights for years now and this one little switch could very well be the factor that makes someone go to a different brand. The power supply we are using now is also a brand that has focused on the power supply market for many years, and the quality has also been tested and compared by our engineers, so no worry about the quality.
About all your feedback and suggestions, we will feedback to the company
I personally am going to probably save up and get some fohse a3i aries lights myself. I have a 4x8 tent and with 2 of the 2022 model sf4000s I should have no problem getting up the $$ for those lights. It'll be a few grows before I make the transition but I probably won't need to ever buy anything again until leds hover at the perfect height above the canopy by themselves without a hangar, controll the temperature and humidity of a room without needing to even be plugged in. .. I know that a long ways away... but yeah.. I am done with these brands that get us to trust and then become untrustworthy. Not saying that spiderfarmer is untrustworthy. But it was a very unexpected move to a much less trusted brand.I totally agree 100 %. I bought the Spider Farmer sf4000 in 2021 and have run very successfully 4 runs. With that said, the light ran very well. Then Spider Farmer puts out a light with this driver change. Tells nothing of the new driver they are changing to. And expects no back lash? I'm sorry but the driver is a fairly important part. It may work out in the long run but I'm afraid they have lost my trust. I am leaning to HLG and use the spider farmer light as a backup if needed. Lights are becoming expensive and growers are researching more and more every day. Why Spider Farmer would not of thought people would not of seen this and act with caution I have no idea.
I was just sent another driver of Spider farmer ( there brand)U can see it is a old 1 fixed up as The power cord is sticking out of driver 1inch as old 1 must of been cut off at driver,I have had nothing but trouble with this light, just bought a migro array 5x5 bar light, very good ppfd chart .I totally agree 100 %. Don't they have a 5 year warranty still??I guess what I'm saying is the driver is kind of an important part of the puzzle here. If you loose a diode or two no great deal. But driver goes bad, totally different story.
I have 2 of the se7000 and they are approximately 12 months old ,with the warranty the first time they sent me a new light stand ( the thing holds light rails up and has wiring in it) that didn't work so I had to send light back to them cost me $160 they gave me approx $75 ,it worked for a couple weeks then would heat up and turn of ,then they sent me another driver with a video to watch how to wire the plug ,and this driver is 2nd hand U can see it is not new and the cable that sticks out of driver has been cut as it has approx 1 inch sticking out ,I wanted to return light in the early days they would not do it , customer service was a nightmare,so there 5 year warranty is there way and a big hassle ,this light has been out of order more than worked ,have a good day.Don't they have a 5 year warranty still??
