I sprinkle a tiny bit of slow-release veg in the Solo cup. They seem to do just fine until transplant

what fevs is saying you do not need to feed the plant the soil will feed the plant.if you start feeding the seedling in ocean forest you will burn the hell out of it

Dont even think about feeding sprouts in ocean forrest for a few weeks and even then, only if hungry. Ocean forrest can go quite some time depending on pot size to plant ratio.
How about FFHF/FFOF 50/50 mix? I also have white widow, power plant, Jack Herer,American Haze.....went from seedling container(1 week), solo cups(2 weeks) and now have been in 7 gal bags for 5 days.....I’ve only fed them straight water until now, although when they wake up (20/4) I was thinking of giving them their first nutes and doing 1/2 recommended dose. Thoughts?

Going from a solo cup to a 7 gallon would give you 4+ weeks of food so no, don't feed anything yet.

Hold off on the nutes if you just transplanted into 7gal. You’re probably set for another 2-3 weeks yet. They will let you know when they need it, even then start at 1/4 strength.

Don't feed that plant any nutes. If you just went to the soil you said you transplanted to it's fine for the next month. In fact it's already starting to claw. I sometimes use the same mix when I grow in soil 50% FFOF/HF . You're good for just plain water for a few weeks.

Step away from the fertilizer and walk towards the pitcher of plain water. :bigjoint:

Short answer is when they need it. If you grow in buffered soil (with nutrients already in it) I wait til they turn a lighter shade of green.

Every element has a chemical structure in nature. Chemical doesn't mean bad, its a word supposed to categorize chemical bounds. You just need to set your head straight.

Use clean available nutrient from mineral sources and/or go the organic route. I wouldn't bother going straight organic indoors, to dirty and much hassle IMO. Very hard to replicate the results and consistency of readily available nutrients in mineral form with organic matter.

That being said I've seen great results with it. I believe the mix is the best you can get. I just use kelp and mineral food and finish it of with a light dose of fish emulsion just for the organic sulfurs and flavour enhancement. In containers that is..

Thanks All Definitely gonna hold off on the nutes!
I’ve been giving them a gallon of RO water @ 6.0 every 3-4 days.....everything drains great I’ve been stressed about over watering so hoping they bounce back soon.....there is 9 total under 2-1000mh.....the jump from 1-400mh n a closet to a 12x10 room and 7 gal bags kinda freaked them out a bit.
