When starting seeds do you use ph'd water???

Hey All,
Just a quick question that probally doesnt even matter. When starting seeds in paper towels,root riot,cup of water, or any other medium are you supposed to use ph'd water? Or am i just putting to much thought into it?

to much thaught and i have alwayse had just fine luck with tap

I never have. I've used tap water, and distilled water from the store. I didn't check the ph for either, and I haven't had a problem with germination. Once I start watering the seedling, however, THEN I ph my water.
