Outdoor grow, no lights, basic compost and tomato feed

MY green house seeds Himalaya Gold has been growing happily in my garden since march. I have been feeding just tomato food to it and its been flowering for a couple of weeks. I don't have a microscope so was wondering if I could get some good advice on how close to flowering it is, based on the photos here. As you will see most of the fan leaves are yellowed and dropping off-
but the buds, whilst small are developing nicely.
I am losing daylight rapidly now and there is a projected drop in temperature projected by the end of the week. I'm looking for keen eyes to tell me what I can expect; When do I stop feeding, flush and chop?
thanks for looking :)

I'm no expert so this is only my observation...she looks hungry for some nutes...also the pot she's in looks small but that could be the camera angle.

It looks to me you got 2-4 weeks left, depending on how u like it. wait till 3/4 of the hairs are red. especially since you have a sativa strain.

thanks. she's not pot bound, but doesnt seem to retain nutes or water now even after upping the quantity and left to stand in an inch of them. I know tom food is not exactly the rich and nutritious mix she desires, but shes not a sophisticated bitch :)

I can tell you that if you are worried about cold nights is to eiether cover her with a bed sheet or some plastic or you can spray the plant heavily with water to prevent frost. this will let you get a few extra weeks outside

Since it appears to be a sativa keep an eye on the trichs with your microscope(not the hairs) hairs wither naturally and reproduce more hairs as it matures ...with a sativa you want to harvest when the the trichs have capped and turned clear to cloudy, this is the best way to time your harvest...don't let the trichs turn amber!!! (if you were growing an indica dominant strain then amber trichs are what to shoot for, if you want that glued to the couch high)...since you are growing a sativa i imagine the couch high isn't what you're looking for. good luck!

looks a bit nute locked probly from that acidic tomato food ,flush that bitch,if that tomato food has a higher N value than P value in the N.P.K u should stop usin it while it buds, spend 10 bucks on something else and probably double what you get, it dont really what the numbers in the N.P.K are just that you have at least 50% more P than N or K and that it isnt designed for tomatos because they love acid soil, also if you can score some molasses it works wonders, especialy on outdoor plants

molasses? really? is it rich in P? and how do I apply it? paint it on the leaves? hehehehehe. I'm gonna get some tomorrow, thanks for all the advice so far, if the consensus is to flush I will flush now and start over with some good nutes (and molasses)

Indoors for two weeks now, the weather got really damp right after I flushed
and she took a while to recover, even getting rot in one branch that I had to amputate.

Lots of lessons learned here. Also too damp to feed properly.
I made a mix of chempak high potash feed and molasses and have been increasing that
as she puts in a final spurt and saps her sugar leaves.

It's too late for big buds on this one, but it's been fun and a learning experience.

Still don't know when to chop, so advice please. peace out.

For anyone who cares, this is a clone I took from the plant above. Shes been topped and LST'd. I stuck her under a CFL to compensate for dwindling daylight and stopped her flowering for a couple of weeks, then decided to let her go for it. The buds look fucking gorgeous on this one and I have been giving her the same potash and molasses mix as the mother, but this one has time to benefit from them, so I will report on how she fares. I am inclined to give her bursts of CFL light, which maybe disqualifies her from the outdoor forum, but shes in the sunshine when there is any ;) enjoy the pics, feedback greatly appreciated.
