Depends where ur based if europe id go with European seeds if you in usa then maybe domestic ones imoLooking to get some new seeds and am wondering where everyone likes to order from?
Why not?Not Europe
Exactly theres good and bad breeders everywhere only downside be shipping times for people in usa/canada id imagine but thats no different than me buying from usa or some other place thats further away from where i am it just stands to reason and it cant really be the old better genetics argument again surely as everyone everywhere pretty much can access most things even in clone only form pretty easy these days so aint like folks in europe aint using alot of american genetics to begin with anywayWhy not?
I'm in the USA and have made all of my seed purchases from European shops. I've been completely satisfied. Good selection and prices. Banks like Sensible Seeds have a huge selection including US breeders offerings. Better payment options as well. Too many of the US shops make you send cash or a money order.
Or vice versa. I wonder how many of the US breeders with their purple strains started with ACE PCK or Cannabiogen from who ACE acquired it. And they even say so on their website. They don't try and make some big secret like many US breeders do to get people to think they did something special. Breed that with anything and you get purple weed. Master Kush is in the genetic lineage of many US strains and it's a Dutch strain. There are many other examples.Exactly theres good and bad breeders everywhere only downside be shipping times for people in usa/canada id imagine but thats no different than me buying from usa or some other place thats further away from where i am it just stands to reason and it cant really be the old better genetics argument again surely as everyone everywhere pretty much can access most things even in clone only form pretty easy these days so aint like folks in europe aint using alot of american genetics to begin with anyway
Exactly tbh the folks i respect mostly are the ones who in it for the passion not just the $$ idc about country of origin so much and people that preserve shit long term that takes work or people like angus of rsc /kwikseeds that spread it at a fair price so that when its not there in the fields in the home countries of origin it at least still exists in folks collections somewhere in years to come thats gonna matter big time sadly even more so than nowOr vice versa. One of my biggest issues are the payment methods. I'm not sending cash in the mail. Sensible Seeds and Seedsman accept bitcoin. I've had seeds from the UK to the West Coast in under a week. Massive amounts of freebies as well. I think one time I got almost as many free seeds as what I ordered after the bonuses for spending X amount, using bitcoin, buying seeds on special, etc... Those freebies stack and add up. All fems and autos that I gave most of away and everyone was happy with them.
Then there is the fact that the US seed industry has turned into a bunch of pollen chuckers just making seeds and coming out with new stuff every month and not doing any actual breeding. I'm not paying $20 a seed for some cross I can make myself. Many of them are probably just chucking and growing in a 4x4 tent like I am. Making seeds is easy. It's not rocket science. Especially when all many are doing is taking 2 strains and crossing them for F1's then giving them some silly name. I could train a blind monkey to do that.
Customs(especially Chicago), ridiculous shipping costs and times, add on fees for "stealth" packaging that mostly requires removing seeds from original breeder packaging. Why not?

I'll agree with you on customs. Chicago appears to be a black hole. My stuff comes through San Francisco and I've tracked it go through in just a few hours. I never found the shipping fees to be outrageous. $15 for stealth shipping on a $1200 order with seeds that all came in original breeder packaging. The payment options were much better as you could use credit card, amazon gift card, bitcoin, etc... Most of the US places that carried anything I wanted required cash or money order. Which brings up another issue. I don't want anything from most US breeders.Customs(especially Chicago), ridiculous shipping costs and times, add on fees for "stealth" packaging that mostly requires removing seeds from original breeder packaging.
On average I don't find the payment options to be better either.
Plus, and maybe this is just me, shipping seeds made in the US to Europe only to have them shipped back to the US seems wasteful.
