you really think soybean oil and sodium lauryl sulfate leaves no residuals? lol.For PM during flowering I use GreenCleaner, works great! I tried both methods mentioned above but Greencleaner worked 10x better and left no residuals that these other home remedies will leave behind
I use a little aloe vera gelSpeaking of surfactants, any tips on a good organic one that won't kill bacteria like BT or bacillus subtilis?
Always add a drop of soap. Water doesn’t bead up and run off right away.Same issue here just sprayed some baking soda and peroxide with water mix, we’ll see what happens View attachment 4396807View attachment 4396808
Neem leaves a residue and definitely changes the flavor of buds.as said already Potassium Bicarbonate 1 teaspoon per gal water. No need to use anything else to raise ph as it raises ph in fact it's what I use for ph up. I use neem oil or azamax, touch of dish soap and Potassium Bicarbonate as my twice a week IPM in veg but it can be used in flower as well. It will turn pistils red/brown but unless you are planning on making seeds that doesn't matter.
I tried alcohol once and it fucked up the plant.Isopropyl alcohol fucks up the pm blotches that appear on leaves. Don't spray your buds though, unfortunately alcohol can dissolve the happiness in your buds.
Remove spent and near spent leaves and don't be afraid to spray the branches or stalks if you see something you don't like.
PM spores travel on the wind. So don't just toss your leaves on the ground, bag 'em up and wash your hands before playing with plants again.
I've used 50% alcohol with success on both PM and botrytis. Not intended as a cure, more of a stopgap. Sprayed a couple plants that were real close to harvesting today. Wasn't pm, it was a bit of botrytis(s) at the juncture of a broken branch and the stalk on two different plants.I tried alcohol once and it fucked up the plant.
Some growers spray with diluted skim milk to lower PH, but I've never tried it.
The best thing you can do for your plants is keep them healthy.
High brix will prevent PM.
You can also spray bacteria on the leaves to prevent PM.
Serenade is a popular product.
I prefer Southern Ag GFF because it's much more concentrated (cheaper).
It also prevents root rot if you tend to overwater...
Gotta admit, my alcohol stats are weak.Sorry alcohol hasn't worked for you, perhaps try some heroin?
Heroin ? I mix it with dawn dish liquid and spray the spider mites. They get addicted then they get all pan handly and too lazy to eat my plants.Gotta admit, my alcohol stats are weak.
A sample size of 1 usually doesn't cut it.
I have never tried heroin, but I've dealt with lots of addicts.
Most of them are pitiful, but a few are very dangerous.
How do you like your heroin, Rob?
(explains a lot... )
