Here is a shot of my ladies taken last week.... fresh update tommorrow,,, long live thewhite russian

Man, they look so nice! I hope I can keep mine looking as good as yours... I'm still somewhat inexperienced with all this. By the time the Russians are in flower, that will be my 7th crop to go in bloom. So hopefully I will have gotten the hang of it by then. I mean, everything I've budded before came out fine (except the very first one). So I can only imagine I will get better and better with time.

Sorry for no pix everyone! I actually have the time to take pix right now, but the lights are out in the flowering room, and I have to go through it to get to the veg room >_< Definitely tomorrow night I will post some up!:leaf::leaf::leaf:

Thanks man. will post new pics in a few hours...:weed:

This grow rather than just pro mix I used half canna, half pro mix with some worm castings and guano mixed in. I have been very careful with my watering and using less nutes than last time.... I will post photos of my previous grow at exactly the same date... last time my 4x4 grow tent was full with 15 5 gal pots... this time it is full with 9 and I have a seperate 600w HPS bathing 6 more beauties:leaf: that could almost fill the tent themselves.... today is day 15 of flowering

Wow, your current grow looks way better. Is that because you've been using less nutes? I think I might've already asked you but what kind of nutes are you using and how often are you giving them now? Sorry, I'd check to see, but I'm pressed for time (what's new?). I just got some Fox Farm that I'll be starting on the Russians when they're ready for it. But I planned on just going by FF's feeding schedule.

Here are the babies 2 weeks old from seed. Godiva still looks a bit stretched, but "she" has slowed down a lot on stretch and is spending more energy creating leaves now. My plans for HPS have been foiled. The person that was going to give me theirs has decided to start growing again. So I'll have to come up with some extra money for it. I obviously have enough time before the Russians are ready to go into flower, but I'd like to get it soon for my current White Satins.

Anyhow, not much new to report other than that. Except that I still need to get my carbon filter built. Can you believe Home Depot doesn't have a 4" duct end cap?!?

Oh, and pic #9 is my cat. "The Jungle Queen" as I call her -- she loves to lounge in the plants.

Thanks man. I got some Elephant Bud and Jedi seeds that I'll be trying out next. Can't plant em for at least a month or two because of limited space. But they're next and now I can't wait!

And, as a rare turn of events, I did get that HPS afterall. Guy brought it by today complete with the ballast and everything. I forget the wattage since it's been so long since he told me. But it's either a 400 or 600! Yes! I'm so excited now. ^_^

The little ones are getting bigger and prettier by the day.

MadCatter: I know you say stretching isn't important to worry about at this stage. But I noticed that Godiva is now starting to stretch again yet the other aren't even though they're in the same conditions. I noticed the phenos vary a bit from plant to plant with my White Satins, but do you experience a lot of variety with the WR you've grown?

Also, I'm still waiting on that HPS bulb. I opened the box and everything was in it except the bulb itself >_< apparently he forgot to bring it, but said he'll bring it by another time... maybe this weekend (I hope).

2Timer: Did you ever upgrade from MH bulb? Or do you know what kind of temperature difference I can expect? I was planning on getting a small A/C for the closet because I'm averaging about 90f right now. If it's going to raise it more than 3 degrees, then the A/C will have to be the highest priority for me to buy.

Not too much to mention on the ladies as of this moment. I will probably try to transplant them sometime within the next week. But maybe next weekend.

....
The WR I've had from seed has been only somewhat variable.. There were differences in the plants, which seems to contradict other information out there on the uniformity of the WR. The differences were slight though compared to other seed strains I've had.

Yeah, definitely get the AC unit, I had temps like you and saw major differences ( like double ) in growth once I put mine in.

Great grow :peace:

Since my clones have all come from the same mother fro both grows I get fat bushy medium height plants... I will pist some photos of day 22 flowering... the tall skinny bitches are chronics....
THAT'S how I want my plants to look 8) I'm working on adjusting the light so they can't stretch too much. But with a 250 MH, there's only so close I can bring the light. Over the next week, I will be installing flouros for the littler plants. The 250 will be only used for the bigger transplants after that.

Thanks! Good to know. Hopefully I will be getting an A/C from the guy that gave me the HPS. That would be nice; much easier and cheaper. But if I can't get it from him in the next week, I'll be forced to go get the A/C myself since I live in an area that barely ever drops below 75F outside. And our "cold" front just ended, so it's starting to warm up outside again, which essentially means my closet will start heating up again since it's right up against the outside wall and roof.

Ok. I know I said I wasn't going to fill this journal with any info on the White Satins, BUT, I got the new HPS all hooked up today. I'm excited and wanted to take pix, and it just so happens that the Satins are the predominant breed in the closet atm.

I verified that the HPS is a 400w. The only White Russians are in the red Solo cups still. I think I'll transplant them tomorrow because they're just growing so fast. Since my closet is overcrowded now, I'll be forced to put some of those smaller White Satins in flowering since I have a little more room in there. Plus, two of the plants flowering right now should be ready in just over a week, so I'll have even more room in there. The WSs in veg right now are about 11-12" so they're a little small, but I've put some into flower at 16" and had no problems at all.

Pic 1 - Veg room

Pic 2 - This is proof that adjusting the PH of the water really pays off. It's the only thing I changed from my last 3 grows of White Satin and it is *SO* crystalized compared to the other (if you go to my profile and look at my photo album called "Beth", she was the same age as this plant and not nearly as triched out!) I'm so glad I took the extra step to test and adjust my water at every single watering. It has definitely paid off!

Transplanted the Russians a couple days ago. Having some leaf color problems. I'm wondering if it's the new Fox Farm soil. The seeds originally grew in MG and were doing fine in it until transplanting. I noticed the leaves at the bottom are yellowing a wilting and some of the upper leaves are yellowing but are still green along the veins. I can take some close-ups if you want, but I figured this is a pretty common problem that maybe someone knows off-hand.

Does anyone else have good experience with transplanting into FF soil? I just gave them their first dose of FF nutes today (grow big only). So now I'm worried that if the soil might be too hot for them, maybe I just made matters worse! :o I also tried looking on the diagnosis sticky on this forum, and I have narrowed it down to either Nitrogen or Magnesium.

So what are your thoughts?
A) Transplant into FF
B) Nitrogen
C) Magnesium
D) A mixture of the above

Anyway, I've noticed no one really comments here anymore. I know it's boring and nothing is really going on. I don't have too many questions because I usually will do my own research and figure things out on my own. So, I thought I'd post more pix of my whole setup so there's something more to look at than baby plants. :weed:

Pic 1-2: Veg room (White Satins & White Russians)
Pic 3-6: White Russians
Pic 7-10: Flower room (white satins)
Pic 11-12: Flower room in front, veg room in the background.

P.S.
My white satins are absolutely loving that HPS!

When you transplanted them, you only watered with water and no nutes right? It reminds me a bit of nute problem... here is a little bit of white russian bud porn at day 29....
