White Widow , Bubbleicious & Lemon Skunk Dwc

Sorry for the slow updates peeps been busy.

Feminised Bubblicious from Nirvana seeds is somewhat of a slow grower and is still slightly behind the white widow.

Both plants were flipped to 12n12 almost 5 weeks ago now , the widow showed first signs of flower 2 and a half weeks after , the Bubblicious was almost a week later.

Both strains have only really been flowering a couple weeks to be fair but already are putting on serious weight.

The Bubblicious is only just starting to produce trichomes and has a nice sweet aroma , fruity but I wouldn't say bubblegum scented.
Time will tell though.

The White Widow is covered in trichomes and always a winner in my eyes for just that alone lol , the resin production is ridiculous.

For the last week (widow) I was fighting a very sudden daily ph drop and massive hikes in ppm's , at first I thought with the ppm hike I was overfeeding, "my bad" It turns out I was underfeeding.

I'm way too stoned to contemplate explaining the internal ec of plants and how they can leach acidic chemicals back into the res if underfed but if I find a link on the subject I will post it.

The Widow is showing me she's deficient in calcium and no wonder with me reducing feeds.

Now she's back on track but you will see in pictures that the top fan leafs have suffered slightly.
Some were yellowing but now I've increased the feed over a 3 day period I can notice the overall colour returning the the least affected areas.

She's a lot further on than the bubblicious and quite a fast flowerer.
Apart from the few yellowing leafs she's in good health and I see the gains daily. White Widow may be an "old skool" strain but you just can't beat this shit.
All round performer.

Excuse the yellowing leaves tho lol.

For weeks I've been wondering why the Bubblicious was growing slower than usual and why it's bud formation was different.

Its a bangkok lady boy.

Why are we seeing more hermes nowadays , well my opinion is TOO MANY NEW SEEDBANKS THROWING OUT GARBAGE AND TO KEEP UP THE "OLD SKOOL" SEEDBANKS ARE FOLLOWING SUIT.

UNTESTED SHITE THAT SHOULD NEVER REACH THE MARKET!!!

Some will say grower error n such like but I've been growing constantly for almost 13 years so NO grower error here guys n gals.
Bad genetics is all I see, #Nirvanaseeds shame on you...

On the up side I now can centralise the White Widow and concentrate on getting as much light down on her as possible to increase final yield seeing as she's been scrunched up in the corner to make space for the once living Bubblicious.

She is going to be a serious yielder!
Since topping the Polyploidy top from her she's went into overdrive , I removed the top about 2wks after flipping to 12/12 and the new tops that shot up amazed me lol.

She has over a dozen tops that grew from the 1 cut so sacrificing 1 main cola may have been beneficial regarding final yield because as you will see in the pictures she is doing very very well for only being 3 weeks since first signs of flowering started.

Well it's been 2 and a half since she had tiny pinky tip sized nugs on the main cola,s so she's probably in the middle of her 3rd week.

Here is yesterday's pics , I've got a little sorting out to do but will upload today's shortly.

So did you kill the Bubbleicious? I was hoping it would pick up the pace. The photos you showed have an "average" look to them that I have not been impressed with before. I have a bubblicious growing and was hoping for a pleasant surprise. It's holding it's own in veg so far and nothing else has passed it yet. Where do you get your air lines?

Yeah Bro I had to chop it down to save pollenation. Gutted coz I had big expectations from her.
Most reviews I saw said slow growth and mixed feelings on final product so I was weary about starting her.

I will do another bubblicious run in the new year so its not too bad mate.

I got those airlines from my local hydro shop buddy, they look better than the clear ones man.

Hope yours does better than mine did , let me know how she goes mate.

Thanks for stopping by...

Today is day 50 since flipping to 12/12 for the White Widow and everything is sound as a pound.

Yes she had a calcium deficiency but since changing to Adv Nutes Connoisseur things have been back on an even keel.

She's feeding again and putting on a lot of weight so the last few weeks will be interesting to see if she does as well as I think she will. Time will tell lol.

She's probably been in flower the best part of 40 days giving she only had pinky tip sized nugs around day 21.

Been cold lately and I'm not too fussed with grow room temps being super low at night coz I'm starting to see purple here n there , the odd calyx and sugar leaf tip are showing signs so all I can say is bring on the flush so I can pull out more colours , she's gonna look stunning.

Most grows I've looked at regarding white widow showed 9 -10 weeks of flower and tbh there isn't much out there I've hunted everywhere.

I'm looking to see similarities with faster flowering pheno's and my own , maybe the 7wk or 8wk ones coz im seeing amber trichomes already , albeit mostly on the sugar leafs but at the end of the day there there nonetheless which is telling me she's not that far off being ready.

Amber trichomes are slowly getting there, there's maybe 5-10% if I'm lucky so started flush yesterday with Flawless Finish and fingers crossed in a weeks time the percentage is a lot higher.

Direct advice from Adv Nutes is to NOT PH with there product so add flawless finish to your water and leave it be for 5-7 days and then give water for a couple days depending on fade obviously, if your fading fast use flawless for a couple days then add water for the final day or 2.

Spoke to Advanced Nutrients about the Ph Perfect range and they told me that with sensi you dnt have to set your Ph

Connoisseur works the exact same but is better quality.
No need to add up or down, just add your A+B to your rez and leave it be.

This is exactly what they said

###If you are using the pH Perfect line the chelates, surfactants, amino acids as well as the buffers enable the plants to absorb the nutrients in the water between 4.0 and 8.0 pH###

Another direct quote from Adv Nutes...

###
The pH perfect Connoisseur and Sensi would have the same “rules” as far as pH goes. You don’t need to really adjust the Sensi either.

It will uptake between 4 and even 8, however if its anywhere outside of mid 5’s to 7ish, its worth giving us a call, just so we can go over any outside interference and make sure there is none###

There's a lot of ppl asking about the ph perfect range in here and on other sites so I thought I'd share what they told me with the community , that way it clears up a lot of unanswered questions for lots of ppl.

Peace...
