White worms

Any idea what these white worms are in my Run off? I am in coco and I keep seeing these white worm things in the run off. Am I tripping? Are they roots or worms? They don't seem to be causing me any issues. I just noticed them a week or two ago and they keep coming out in the run off the same as the springtails do. Are they beneficial like springtails are?IMG_0303.JPGIMG_0304.JPGIMG_0305.JPGIMG_0306.JPG

I have never heard of them before. Are they good? :bigjoint:
Well if that's what they are they actually sell them to raise for feeding to aquarium fish. Coco coir is some of the bedding materials they use. I don't know if that's what they are but there is a good chance they might be.

Either pot worms or fungus gnat larvae from what i can tell. I just cant tell scale. Pot worms are waaay longer than fungus gnat larvae.

Pot worms are good, fungus gnats are bad lol.
They are tiny, less than a millimeter in size. I've had them for over a week now and they haven't changed into anything else. They just stay like a worm lol :bigjoint:

Do you have any Fungus Gnats flying around? This could be the start.
If youre in coco i presume youre keeping things pretty moist which would line up with Fungus Gnats.
They arent the worst pest but still kinda annoying.

Where are you at in the grow? Veg or flower?

Nah dude I don't see no Gnats. If I did see them, I would go crazy and they would drive me mad lol. I'm 4 weeks into flower and the roots have filled out the pots. I think they are pot worms like xtsho mentioned. I also have springtails in my coco. Hundreds and thousands of them. And what I have noticed when I get run off the springtails sit on top of the water and the worms live under the water. It's like they live in harmony together lol :bigjoint:

Thanks dude, do you know if they are harmful or not?
The clue is in their name. Detritus worms.

Detritus worms are appropriately named after their diet. These tiny pests feed on decomposing plants and animals. They survive on decaying leftovers and waste that accumulates throughout the tank.

Most commonly found in aquariums when it’s been over fed.
