Who/How was the craziest/coolest/weirdest SCHOOL BUS DRIVER you ever had??

So most of us had had a school bus driver
and lets face it some of them were very unique people.

my school bus driver;
- he was so big he would have to pull himself through aisle because of the seats
- he wore golden rings on every finger and they were HUGE.
- he had a profetical beard that reached his waist
- bald head and used an old US marine corps cap AT ALL TIMES
- never took off the Rayban's
-its gets better; he would wake up every day at 3am to feed his cats, 30 OF THEM!
- and one time this drunk old guy was on the sidewalk and started hitting the bus and cursing the kids inside, so RJ (bus driver's name) got off the bus, warned the guy to stop, but he didnt and RJ went at him... the old guy was taken away in an ambulance.

i went to a small school in a country setting. the bus ride was an hour to go to all the farms an pick evertbody up. from kindergarten up to 12th grade all rode the same bus. the afternoons on that bus would get crazy.

one day we're rolling a long. the kids up front are out of control. there were a few seniors that would do there best to keep order. well one day it just wasn't happening. that kid kept getting up, running around, yelling and just being a brat. dude try to sit him down 10 times. the driver warned him at every stop.

so we're cruising along and it's getting loud again. all the sudden she pulls over and stops the bus at an unscheduled location. we all figure this is it, that kids gonna get smacked. she quietly opened the doors, stood up and walked off the bus. she just started walking home. said "fuck it".

dude had to go chase her down and talk to her. he came back and settled everything down. she got back on and there wasn't another sound the rest of the way home.



she also drove us thru a 50 yard section of flooded roadway that was at least 3 feet deep. i have a few more as well, save them for later.

Well, when I was in the 5th grade(so like...16 years ago) our class was coming back from a field trip and our fucking asshole, old timer (I'm talking 75+ years old) bus driver freaking died while we were waiting at a red light. I remember because I saw him kind of put his head on the steering wheel and then about 15 seconds later the bus started moving ever so slowing and we hit a truck that was coming through the other intersection.

It was some messed up shit, lemme tell you.

She could have gotten in big trouble leaving like that. (I would think)... She was probably getting away so she could smoke a joint to calm her down..

im pretty sure his name was john or some shit...he would dress up as santa on christmas break and hand out candy and other stuff when we all got of the bus...dude was the bomb diggity

I got in a bit of trouble at school and was sent to an alternative school. By me its just a school that all the kids that get kicked out of the main schools get sent to so as you can imagine it was a bunch of punks causing trouble all the time. No real teaching going on more just trying to keep us under control. Well we had this bus driver that was in her mid 20's and really cute. Well one day she asked 3 or 4 of us if we wanted to go to her place and smoke some weed. Well we all rode in her bus to her place and she smoked us all out. Then drove us all home in the bus. I couldnt believe it really. It was a one time thing but I had a huge crush on her now and wanted her to take me home again on the bus lol.

sue was her name..... crazy as hell but to give her credit- she had the worst buch of kids... smoked a joint on there once.... kids ran ONTOP of the seats, it was sheer madness I tell you!
She would stop twice as much as she needed to in order to try and create order.. screaming and yelling- soooo many write ups!

OMG she was a fucking mess.

Long mullet with greasy grey hairs, a moustache, NASTY crooked teeth, fupa with a fanny pack resting on top, some crazy ass American flag shirt everyday and black tights with stirrups and slip on shoes (maybe Keds).

That bitch didn't take any shit. You stood up - she slammed on the brakes, she had a radio; you got too loud for her to hear - she slammed on the brakes, she heard a swear word - she slammed on the brakes, you could be in the middle lane of a busy street and she would lock up the rears. She would literally sit there until EVERYONE was sitting down, silent, staring forward.

As soon as we pulled up to the school she would grab her black leather cigarette purse and run out of the bus and start puffing while standing next to the door. Every day afterschool she would greet us in the same place while chainsmoking.
