RON PAUL- for states rights to decide on marijuana legalization, small federal government and ending federal intefference with state issues, bring home our troops and stop this imperialistic international policy, among other reasons

Who is your candidate and why?
 
The President still gets my vote. That could change but not with any of the current GOP candidates. The Republicans don't seem that concerned with producing an electable candidate. Incumbents are hard to beat and Bachmann, the leading candidate doesn't stand a chance.

I can't vote for Paul as he believes the Federal Government should force woman who get pregnant to be slaves and carry their babies to term no matter what. You may consider that "Getting The Feds Out of Your Life" but I sure as hell don't. RP simply isn't consistent enough with his Libertarian beliefs. He only wants the Feds out of some aspects of our lives. Sorry, that's my opinion and I am sticking to it.
 
OBAMA, because:

We need to give him a second term because of all the discrimination blacks received in the past.
Only a Democrat truly has compassion.
He has done such a wonderful job so far. Wouldn't want to interrupt him, now.
Still waiting for that "CHANGE".
Oprah likes him.

Anywho... there really is only one candidate that believes in America and freedom, only one candidate that is clear thinking and honest, Dr. Paul.
 
And besides, Ron Paul is a Creationist. I will never vote for Adam and Eve. Sorry. It's called Principle.

No Ron Paul clearly states that though his personal beliefs do not agree with abortions he absolutely does not believe in the federal government telling states what is permitted in their state, In other words Ron Paul believes in principle.

obama is a self described christian, which means that logically he would be a creationist as well, since that is one of the foundations of christianity
 
He wants the Federal Government to define life as beginning at Conception BY LAW. He also considers all abortions to be murder. He wants to control the bodies and lives of women when it comes to reproductive health. Not Libertarian in my mind at all. He'll never get my vote because of that stance.
 
Ron Paul. Honesty and a "REAL" voting record count in my book. I will vote for him even if he doesn't win the primary, I did last time and wrote in his name.

not trying to generalize all of christianity or differentiate between 6,000 year old world believers and those that believe the clay we are made from was a reference to evolution and the guiding hand, simply stating that by definition anyone who believes in god believes in some kind of intelligent design
 
Not sure what you consider to be logic but I bet it differs with what I do.

The President is not a Creationist. He believes in Evolution and is able to differentiate between his faith and science. Unlike ignorant bible thumpers that think God snapped his fingers and created everything before taking a nap.

Got any proof that Obama believes in Evolution?

except that obama believes in federal mandates, while ron paul believes in letting the people choose for themselves, you see one candidate beliefs in big government telling us what is acceptable, and one candidate believes you should have the right to choose for yourself, one candidate is an educated doctor OBGYM, and one candidate is a lawyer, one candidate lied about what he would do if put into office, and one candidate has been in washington staying true to his libertarian beliefs for many years
