I am cloning my mother plant for the first time and was wondering when I pre soak my rockwool starter cubes in PH 5.5 water for 24 hours what should the water PH be when the cubes are done soaking?
 
hi im having problems controling heat in my room my set up is

6x duel cooltubes (12x 600w bulbs) 6inch
3x rvk L2 fans 8inch 950m3 each pulling air from a closet through to my loft space
1x 1500m3 acustic box fan 10inch with carbon filter pulling air from my room to my loft space
1x rvk L200 fan 1250m3 10inch fan pulling air in to the room from outside the room
I also have 2 A/C
one has a 9000btu rating and the other has 8000btu rating

i have tryed a lot of differnt ways of running the system but cant get it under 32 degrees c with only 9 of the 12 lights running
any ideas would be gratefull as i might be missing something

the next thing im gonna try is putting my 2 air cons in the loft space and sectioning part of it of and running a recurclated system im hopeing the 2 A/C will be able to keep the sectioned of part at below 20 degrees C and pulling air from a different part of my loft space and threw my cooltubes and in to my closet space and running a small 500m3 fan in there and use it to pull the warm air out of there
 
I have 3 females growing, they are in the last weeks of flowering, and one of them has a couple seeds coming out of the buds, why did this happen?
 
i have 1 plant under 2 4ft flouros(5000k,96cri each) and 2 42 watt cfl. I am what you would consider a n00b. is this enough lighting for veg? i have a 150 watt hps on the way but only plan on using that for the flowering stage. any help would be great. i will post pictures soon.

She hermied. Could be stress could be genetics or could just be a plant trying to save itself. No big deal, it will not affect anything at this point.

Hi again all,

Still having this spotty problem going on and it seems to be spreading upwards. These did start appearing before I gave nutes. I have no experience with this but something is telling me it's not burn, but I just don't know. She got plain filtered water 2 days ago and seems to be wicking it out really well and still growing well, it's just the damn spots (cannabis acne??? :mrgreen:).

Opinions appreciated,

I have been searching this site along with some search engines and I cannot seem to find an answer to this ...

I would like a single cabinet used for Mother Plants, Clones, and to veg the clones for 1-2 weeks. I plan on doing a SOG grow.

How tall does the cabinet need to be for mother plants? I am going to "try" and bonsai the Mum's but I am a new grower and I'm not sure if I will succeed at that. Just in case, how tall should the cabinet be for Mum's?

5-6 ft. should be tall enough to hold a mother for a few years...LST would help a whole lot...

I am new to this. I know that 12/12 doesn't start in my area for a couple more months. Dumb question but is it to late to top my plant?

If 12/12 isn't gonna happen for a while, then sure, go for it man...it'll need time to recover after the topping before going into flowering, so you should be good...

Is it pointless to use such a good organic potting soil like foxfarm ocean forest, and then use chemical nutrients with it? Will the salts kill all the beneficial bacteria that are present in the soil?

I am just wondering if I want to use chemical nutes, should i just plant in a medium like cocco? The nutes that I am planning to use are Jacks classics and jacks bloom
