What strain(s) are you flowering?
What size containers?
What soil/nutes you feeding?
How often do you flush, if not organic?

im not sure of the strain , got clones befor xmass from a pretty weired night, gave the dude like 20 buks and he gave me 4 clones , 2 ive harvested
they are in 20ltr buckets with drain hole insides and bottom, good drainage.
I have been using just potting mix and now have them on ZILLADUST N10 p54 k10, befor then i used rootblast when young(pre flour seedling stage) and also blood and bone during early flower.
hope thi helps mate
ps i dont flush its all outdoors and water when pot feels light

Some strains will take too long to finish outdoor if you live in an area with short summers. I mean sativas specifically. Iam not familliar with those ferts, but the Zilladust sounds like a hardener better saved for the final 1/3 of flowering only, and you may have been low on K or potash which help increase size during the beginning/middle of flowering along with some source of carbs like black strap molasses or Botanicare sweet to name a few. If I am misunderstanding your ferts I am sorry..
If this is the case it might be too late to help that if temps are that low.

I have a question maybe you can answer. All things being equal will you get the same yield growing 6 plants jammed together, as you would growing 3 slightly larger plants? Using a 600 hps with soil. The space is 4 foot wide by 2and half deep 8 foot high. Plants are only 3 feet tall but im just wondering if its totally by watts. Like a gram per what or whatever. I know there are different methods that I might be able to get a little more yield but I just want to keep it simple. If the yield is basically the same I would probably go down to 4 plants so the lower buds fill out a little better.
Thanks for any replies

I am no expert, but indoor lighting is only good if it penetrates through to the buds. I mean taller plants wont get as much light to the lower buds resulting in popcorn at the bottom.
If only running a 600 in a 4x4 I try to keep the plants 2-3ft max. and too much crowding is the same where light cannot penetrate. I love yer avatar!!!

Hi there,

I have some Morning Glorys from Barneys Farm flowering for 60 days .
They have been vegging in PC big tower box in 1litre/0.2gallon pot under CFLs for 40 days until i finished the bigger box.

Here is picture of last day in PC box and picture of LST of them in a new box and new bigger pots for two of them.

Had some problems with them, premature yellowing in flowering cause of that but they are still alive :).
Im using GO Bio thrive bloom and Bio Bud in combination with tap water after 24h adjusted to pH 6.5.

Number 1 in 8 liter/2 gallon pot :

Number 2 in 8 liter/2 gallon pot:

Number 3 in 1litre/0.2gallon pot:

All together in a box 750x1100x480mm(wardrobe closet) unde 150W HPS sylvania sun :) :

And the question is (dont laugh,LOL), is there anything i can do to force them to finish in max. 10 days ?
Breeder recommends flowering time : 9-10 weeks, they are now entering in week 9 but thrichomes are all clear if you look at the pictures, but i think some of them are starting to bend but cant be sure...

Thx in advance .

Those are some nice plants. you have read and studied some.
an odd choice for placement but it does fit.
this is not your first grow I take it?
Nope, but its my first grow with "brand" seeds. Had 1 balcony grow and 1 PC grow from seed which came from street (nothing special) local so called "just" weed.
But i think i never saw amber trich in real with my eyes :).
Cause of job i had to finish earlier with all my grows :(, and I thinked this time will be different :(.

I believe im running the yield master 2 air cooled light. This is my second run with this light. First run I had three plants in a plywood box a little smaller than the closet im in now, and did real well. This time I had more room so I ended up putting six in there. It was a little tight but plants seemed to thrive. Anyhows I cropped one at least two weeks early and the colas where rock hard and all, I just wasn't that impressed with yield. Its not dry yet but by the looks of things i'll probably get ounce and a half, maybe a little more. I was getting that off a 250 hps. So what I was wondering is, say you get a gram a watt, does that mean if I grew one plant i'd get 600 grams and if I grew six plants i'd still get 600 grams? I guess to simplify my rambling question, I would like to go down to four plants if the yield would be the same. Because like you say, when they are crowded light doesn't penetrate to the bottom as well and not only do you end up with popcorn buds it just makes trimming harder. As far as the avatar goes,I doubt she really understands the power that ass yields. She could bring about world peace.

I dont know anyone who actually gets a gram per watt. Anything over .5-.6 gpw is good imo.

I was just using that as a example. Basically would you get the same yield that you would from 6 plants as you would for 4 plants. I'll actually weigh everything this time around and then next run, maybe run 4 and see if I get a similar weight. but little bigger nuggs. I remember when I was a kid I grew a plant outdoors and it was really my first successful plant, I was so happy and loved trimming. Now sometimes I hate trimming especially if theres alot of little garbage buds on the bottom. I like variety, but if the weight is similar id just as soon grow fewer plants that produce bigger buds that are easier to trim. Now if I go down to 4 plants and lose an zip or two Id stick with six plants and deal with the popcorn buds on the bottom. Thats all I was wondering. Thanks for replying

If you run less but bigger plants dont forget to use larger pots and maybe veg a lil longer. Topping, lst, and super-cropping are a few ways to maximize yield.

Black light definitely wont work. You need fluorescent, high pressure sodium or metal halide lights man. Smell depends on strain, but there will be some smell no matter what strain.

I am running my first hydroponic (DWC) grow. It is a small grow (SOG method), only 2 plants (Master Kush and Aurora Indica). I have started both plants from seedlings root riot cubes in 3-inch netpots with hydroton. These plants share 1 reservoir (approximately 1 gallon). I am growing in a 3x2x4 homemade grow enclosure with a 150 watt HPS light. In my reservoir, I have two 6-inch bubbler stones. I am already in flowering stage, and at this point I have the water level just below the bottom of the net pots. In such a small reservoir, is it possible to get root-bound? Thank you.

I'm finishing second week of flowering, it's my first grow, this is 63rd day of growing form seed i found in a bag. Because it's my first grow I made lot of mistakes probably, and that is probably why my flowers are not growing much, or maybe it is because I didn't cut down big leafs. And that is my question should I cut of most of the leafs which are not attached to flowering branches? Thank you all for any opinions.
