I was criticizing conservative morals, not conservatives themselves. Remember, TBT said that liberals were morally decrepit? This was my response: conservative morals suck and that I don't want them. Basically, I never called anyone racist, oppressive, or selfish. I never said all conservatives are any of those things, I simply stated that conservative morals perpetuate this kind of ugliness. Therefore, no stereotype.

Never told conservatives they shouldn't smoke pot by the way, just commented on the paradox of conservatives partaking in a liberal activity.

As I have explained, just because there are more balcks in top sports positions doesn't mean they are better athletes. Ever wonder why there are so few black golfers? It's because most blacks don't have access to golf courses growing up in da hood. However you can't throw a rock without hitting a basketball court. get it?

How do you define better athlete than? Which race is faster on average? Which race is stronger on average? I'm sure african americans win no matter what your definition may be...

Your premise is all wrong. Smoking pot is NOT a historically liberal activity. I've been smoking/growing pot off and on for 54 years now. You know what, you are a very rational guy. I am going to stop generalizing so much, it makes one less credible. Stereotyping doesn't get anyone anywhere. I guess I was just trying to make the point that stereotyping people and being a bigot are two different things, and unintentionally I was defending stereotypes in the process. Oops. I was complimentary in my stereotypes though, so I don't know why you say careful. Anyway, I can admit when my arguments lose focus, thanks for reigning me back in. Speaking of prohibition...

It was the very same people who wanted prohibition which were instrumental in ENDING it. They quickly realized that making booze illegal made things much worse. Prohibition only lasted a decade and EVERYONE could remember what it was like before.

This is one of the problems with weed. It has been prohibited so long that hardly anyone is alive to remember the before time. It's become a meme of society...quite unfortunate.

I didn't.Notice I said some, not ALL.I didn't make a generalizing statement on all conservatives. I was pointing out that prohibition was a conservative movement, and back then, at least, lead by Christian women and men.Those same folks often used the bible and religion as a way to enforce the immorality of drinking.So I chose some other quotes from the same book, so we could get a nice round perspective of these people.And from your very own wikipedia link, we see that: "For conservatism is less a political doctrine than a habit of mind, a mode of feeling, a way of living."
In other words,a belief. Which is fine.But when you try to push your particular set of beliefs onto others,such as prohibition,that's where the problems come in. And when you generalize, like you have in this thread, and say that Conservative women are sexier compared to their counterparts, then it shows me you don't know much about the people you're trying to insult.
