Your idea of "bitching" is to give you reasons why you are wrong?
They produced facts that show the wall isn't worth the $50 billion required to span the border. What's currently on the table is 8 or 9 billion to span 25% of the border. We can spend the money much more wisely than that. The wall is just for show. Not worth it.

Personally? I wish it wasn't a problem. If we had resources and unlimited energy there would be no problem with people immigrating here. Don't think for a second that I don't like the idea of open borders.
Maybe if we get our asses in check and try to do something to save the environment.
There are 60 nuclear plants in the US. They produce 20% of our electricity. We would need 270 to be completely unreliant on fossil fuels. It costs 700 million to build a reactor. Let's make it a billion. So for 270 billion, we could go nuclear.
In france the average family pays 700 euros for their electricity. Imagine if you will, the $200 electric bill for a grower pushing 5kw.
We could grow all our plants that are profitable hydroponically under artificial light.
I'm not an idiot. I'm not a racist. I just want it to be harder for people to come here. And if we could? I wish we could afford and support anyone that wants to come here. We have nothing but open land for thousands of miles. It's not like Australia where they have tons of land but none of it is habitable.

All post industrial societies have a negative birth rate. This is not a bad thing. Depopulation wouldn't be a problem if we didn't rely on Ponzi schemes like SS for our retirement.

Tell Japan and Germany it's not bad. That's how the migration problems started for Germany. Japan is, for the first time in its history, is seeking PERMANENT immigrants. They've never allowed immigrants. Now they are seeking them. Beer talk and dreams don't always work out in practice. Good shit to shoot in the shop. But it ain't realistic.

I have a friend who wants to move to Japan. He was quite gifted and went to Rosemary hall. Which is funny. Dubya went there. He visited in 1999, and he said "Look around you. Ever notice that the christians that laugh when they feed muslims pork and make them drink alcohol are so angry when they destroy a Megachurch? Communism. That's a giant debate in of itself. Because we have housing assistance, we have food stamps, we have welfare. What part of a communist system do we lack, other than the lack of healthcare. I would rather see a mandate making employers provide health insurance than medicare for all.

As native as they come. We have our problems, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. But, I have never left the Americas. Mexico wasn't bad. My rich Aunt ordered a bunch of marble tile from Mexico when I was about 12. Being a kid, I ate Burger King instead of a mexican place. Which was probably a good choice. I like Tex Mex and southern california style mexican food the best. I'm not too big on alot of it. Especially those places that don't drain their beef. Maybe I would see something in Asia or Europe that would appeal to me. My uncle has invited me to go see the holy land with him. I think it would be cool to drink from the well of prophets, religion being real or not, those men existed.
