Why can't you clone Autoflowers?

Dude your wasting your time trying to clone them. I just had this argument the other day with a kid. MY friend tried cloning auto's and they all died. Just grow the ones you have so you get all you can out of them don't cut clones off them your just killing your yield. If that is even an issue anyway.

You can clone autos but the clones will be the same age as the plant and they dont veg so all you would end up with is a little flowering clone.

I think the best answer to the question was that autoflowers are based upon age, not photoperiod, taking a cutting from a plant early would just cause a loss of usable budsites to the mother and a fucked up mutant clone that is already about to flower while it's still trying to create roots.

I was thinking about trying the whole thing, but now it just seems counterintuitive. Thanks for all the advice guys

i have 0 exp with autos but from my reading they're basically in flower from start. for 1, plants in flower are a lot harder to clone. and if u did successfully cut clones, there really would not be enough time anyway. the plant is already aged too far when you would cut the clone. plus more time for roots to grow. after that there wouldnt be enough time to even make it worth while. again, this is strictly theory, ive never actually tried it but thats my guess. i would rather seed it. if someone proofs me wrong good for them. im sticking to the indica and sativa species for now.

The fact is unless an op is set up to produce seeds, seedgrowing is not viable. I'll stick to wild flowers. Maybe we do screw with their light factors and stuff but at least they're 100% real pot.

Would You Be Able To Take That "Bowl" And Pollinated It And Have It Produce Your Seeds? I Was Thinking About This Walking Home One Day.
