Why did CBS edit Bill Clinton's quote when interviewed by Charlie Rose about Hillary's health?

Well I guess it's just a giant conspiracy theory until you provide some evidence for it. Isn't that how it works?

In other news: Americans' Trust in Mass Media Sinks to New Low

Gee, I wonder if rigging the democratic primary, colluding with the DNC, or editing direct quotes has anything to do with this..
DING DING DING DING!

And we have a winner!

Only a Chump- and his supporters- believe in a damned thing the mass media tells us anymore, at least without independent verification.

The powers that be have been a little too blatant in their manipulations of late. It was bound to happen, due to a confluence between having to rig things ever harder to get the desired outcomes and simple arrogance on the part of the perpetrators.

Your credibility is lacking on this point.

Again, I'd happily accept a FAIRLY NOMINATED candidate. That's just not what happened.

The next great question in American politics is whether and when the electorate will realize they've been disenfranchised and what they'll do about it.

My highly educated guess is they won't, and even if they do they won't do anything about it.
Depends on which part of the electorate you are referencing. Some will do more than others about this rigged system that we are force fed. Will you support the ones willing to fight for change?

I already do.
And I believe that you do, at least in the voting booth. I was torn between Bernie and Johnson, but the powers that be dictate that neither is worthy of even debating on a national platform.

There must be another way that we, the common citizen, can seize control of our country's destiny. Our banks and corporations rule our politics and policies. They use armies and law enforcement to force their will upon us. They muzzle us at the polls.

What is the correct path forward?

Support the most progressive candidates, they're the ones who actually want to remove the influence of money in government, reign in bloated military spending, and invest in education. What we don't need is more soldiers, more war on people who commit victimless 'crimes', and more subversion of democracy

@ttystikk what does 'snow job' mean?

The first thing to do is raise the alarm. People need to know their democracy has been stolen from them and this has grave consequences for their long term wellbeing.

As it happens, I'm at a radio station right now, as I type these words, doing exactly this.

The next step is to assemble and plan to retake our democracy. One way to do this is to insist that officials do their jobs without influence, or suffer PERSONAL consequences.

It is a pervasive attitude of lack of accountability that has gotten us into this mess.

the only rigging of the system are the republican efforts to suppress votes through their voter disenfranchisement laws. luckily, they are being shot down by the courts right now.

only one candidate will appoint judges that will fight these vote rigging efforts.

you are a stooge.

A distraction, a diversionary tactic. The kind of tactic constantly employed by those in politics to divert attention from an uncomfortable truth.

No, Sir. The system is systematically rigged from start to finish to reward, protect and enrich the oligarch class, whether it comes at the expense of us common people or not matters nothing to them. After all, they're never held accountable for the consequences of their activities, so why should they?

I can give you examples until we're both blue in the face, from politics on both sides of the aisle, trust accounts, the best schools, tax loopholes that favor the rich, towering financial crimes against We the People that go uninvestigated and unpunished... the list is literally endless, and itself a distraction from the task at hand; eliminating the intimate, cozy, incestuous connections between those who own and run big business and those entrusted to handle the affairs of state in our collective best interest.

People might laugh at the apparent impossibility of this goal, but going to the moon was also a joke, once. Until we did it.

America is a dream, a goal and an ideal. One I believe in, regardless of the criminals running the show today. We need to put a stop to those who would steal and subvert our dream of freedom, for no one will do it for us.

Because the liberal elite media is in the tank for Killary! She could murder and devour an infant on live TV, blood and guts running down her chin and all over the front of her pantsuit during the debates and the progressive liberal zombies Jack offs would still lick the corn out of her shit to make tortillas with!!! LOL, 'teriffic', lol

Sure was funny when our precincts all voted a landslide for Mr Sanders- right before the cameras shut off and the nationally known CNN reporter left quickly.

I didn't understand what I was seeing at the time, but I do now; she was only there to report on a Clinton victory. She wasn't there to report the truth.

Original quote:

"Well if it is, it’s a mystery to me and all of her doctors, because frequently—well not frequently, rarely—but on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing happened to her when she got severely dehydrated."

What aired on CBS:

Why did CBS edit out the bolded portion of the quote?
Rhetorical question, right? No need to question, or ponder why CBS removed information damaging to the Democratic nominee, right? They are simply shaping the discussion for the rubes.

CBS, MSNBC, ABC are all just versions of American Pravda. Listen to them at your own peril.

America is plumbing the depths of what it means to be totally corrupt.

I hope we survive the experience, let alone learn something from it.

Cute and entertaining argument you guys are having. When you are done flailing in the branches, maybe you will consider solutions lie at the root causes.

All governments which attains citizens via an involuntary association are corrupt. America is not unique in that regard.

If you disagree I'd be happy to hear why an involuntary association ISN'T corrupt.

that's real cute and all but only one party is doing everything it can think of, constitutional or not, to disenfranchise (especially black, old and college) voters, while the other party is actually trying to make it easier for anyone who is allowed to vote, to vote.

so cram that false equivalency up your ass along with a pound of walnuts, champ.

Right. The other party, meanwhile, has so thoroughly rigged the nomination process, in effect deciding whom we get to vote for, that the outcome, subversion of democracy, is EXACTLY THE SAME.

Different methods, same ends.

Your willingness to toss democracy under the bus to get your way IS the problem, and preventing one candidate or another from getting into office is no solution.
