Why do the bud sites look like this?

I have 2 100w lights and 1 mars ts1000, this auto lemon mimosa was a freebie but I thought I’d try it out, it’s about a week behind my purple punch and the bud sites are weird, just wondering if anyone knows if it’s flowering and not getting enough light or still growing but showing pistil’s. I’m still new been at it for 2 years only.

that's flowering dude, just give it a little while and it'll fill in. those look like old school sativa buds, i bet it'll take at least 12 weeks to get ripe, maybe as much as 16, but i bet it'll be good...i'm running a couple of haze variants that run like that, in a few weeks yours will look like this

and a couple of weeks after that, it ought to look like this

Sativa - buds stacking up .

Keep going - matter if fact throw “ breeder harvest estimates “ out the window - that plant will finish however long it takes ( regardless if “ auto “ )

Thank you guys for the quick reply, another question, should I crank my lights up? Or is it developing okay? It’s sitting at about 50watts under the main light, I got a total of about 175w running all together in the room. Idk the par I just go off what the plants tell me then adjust by wattage. Probably sounds dumb I know but I’m on a strict budget. Times is tough.

sativas will eat all the light you can feed them usually, so give it all you can afford to give it.

Man I truly appreciate the response, i stress myself out trying to make sure everything grows perfect and sometimes I still manage to mess up, I enjoy learning from my mistakes but I’d rather not destroy a whole crop and 2 months worth of time. I see a lot of newbies grow such dank buds and here I am struggling. Lol it makes me wonder what I’m doing wrong. Time and patience, my pops always preached.

You're doing the right things. Don't worry about what other people do, sometimes they can buy results with really expensive lights to a degree. It sure as hell helps. Work on small tweaks each cycle to your grow. Try improving the temps and humidity and keeping them really stable for the entire grow. Make sure the airflow is good all through the tent or room. Small stuff like consistent watering cycles makes a big difference. I've been growing 5 years on a pretty tight budget as well and I still feel new and screw stuff up. You can grow some pretty good bud on a budget if you get good genetics. Best of luck with your girls.

Sativa dominant donking up.

Looked thin and weak. But given weeks there are some long fat finger/thumb buds Poppin off the main stalk. Should have taken a pic of it early on but I Didn't think it would be so good looking and smelly and go this far.
