Why does my weed smoke like this, vid attached

its wet. that is whats causing the sparks. flushing ain't got shit to do with it. unflushed, wet weed sparks just the same as flushed, wet weed does.
 
If it was just sizzling, then ya id say just water. But its dry and has bursts of oxidation.... Like its got sodium nitrate in it or something.
 
he said the weed was dry to the touch but when he brakes it up, it's wet. does that sound like improper cure? yea, it sure does.

i do not flush my weed and i do not get any sizzle or sparks unless i'm rushing to smoke and not allowing it to dry and cure properly.

Hit the nail on the head, I haven't flushed for years never have harsh smoke or sparks. That needs to dry thoroughly and be cured..... Don't rush it. It's worth the wait
 
ok i didnt watch his video but im wondering the same thing sort of....i used to be able to get this lime green herb called hawaiian?! it was good shit but it had a metalic taste that i liked personally and it fizzled!! i see everyone guessing but assuming it wasnt a nute or grow issue does anyone actually KNOW why this happens? has anyone ever seen that happen based on strain?...also this shit wasnt wet
 
It has nothing to do with the strain or anything like that. It is wet like everyone says or it was cured improperly. Usually drying and curing too quickly can do that. It happened to me on my first grow with Miracle gro soil ha.
 
ok so ill repost part of my post....ALSO THIS SHIT WASNT WET...its not due to dampness or cure guaranteed because you can improperly cure alot of plants and not have this happen also you can smoke a nug straight off the plant if you so choose to ruin it and that doesnt sizzle or taste like metal...so its something else and i only thought maybe strain because everytime i get that awesome taste its been the same lime green looking shit..3 pages of ppl saying oh i bet its wet come on if thats the reason then any slightly wet pot would do this and it simply doesnt...once again anyone actually KNOW the answer here
 
I'm smoking some tasters of my recent harvest now, and it's wet but the shit don't sizzle. It just tastes yummy, like dank organic weed should.
 
ok powerslide....flushing and curing are two different things what are you trying to prove about your statement with that article??...anyway flushing is absolutely necesary it lets the plant know its time to die and fatten up and finish its fruit production and also removes alot of the chlorophyl and nasty taste
 
yeah im almost sure thats excess moisture it wasnt cured properly. even bbud that feels dry will do this sometimes it may have something to do with poor flushing but it definitely has something to do with moisture
 
ok your all wrong the stuff i smoked and like that would sizzle and taste like metal was NOT wet and it was lime green good shit not a bad flush or cure...the most likely real reason is because of some type of metal content or something in the weed so when someone who is actually a scientist stumbles upon this we can get a real answer
 
lol metal in the weed dude? go get some bud, soak it in water let it dry for a day and try to smoke it. bud could be "lime green good shit" and still have excess moisture. its not good shit if youre saying it has metal in it lol
 
Improperly dried and cured. Probably initially dried too fast and did not maintain enough moisture(60% close to optimal)for long enough for fermentation to occur...flushing is for toilets and correcting issues in the medium...
