Why is my baby plant growing sideways? please help

i run HID, and the thought of that close with me...makes me wanna hug my plants! haha, but dood, DROP IT LOW!!

lol.... too much, dude I'll try to give you some advice. Your plants will never ever ever grow with the lighting you have. I'm sorry. I am also a newbie grower and have a 400 watt hps and my plants have over 30 leaves in less than 2 weeks. Yours barely have 2... Get some better lights, the only way to solve your problem! Fuck that ufo bs..

i must agree, and u probally paid 100 fer it too huh?? u could have just got a 150 hps ($80) and a good fan ($20).

I'll probably just annoy you with my take, but a) there's nothing wrong with your UFO light. b) Some darn little seeds sprout a long stem.
It'll be OK. I don't think it's going for the fluoro-light, it's leaning on it. If you keep propping it up, the stem will stay weak longer, than if you let it move around a bit in the wind.
- waiting longer, just makes it harder. I'd be careful to not let the stem touch the fluoro while it's so tender. Hope you'll be OK!

man im scared! i really want this to work out. So what ive gathered here is, i should repot it and bury the stem deeper? And keep the light closer?

Ya idk what to think about this dam ufo, so far i think it sux, but i only paid 144$ on ebay,shipped from china, but i havent had it for 30 days yet, so i think i have a return policy, so maybe i should get like four 65 watt cfls for budding and a few 42 watt 6000k for veg??? Is this a good plan? or should i give the UFO a little longer?

man that looks really nice. But mine is only 1 week old, i put the seed that was already sprouted in in the dirt exactly 7 days ago, but ya, i think my light just sux :sad:

dude please return it before you run outta time... A hps will produce WAY better results... The sun produces over 10,000 lumens per square foot on a hot summer day... With my 400 watt hps I'm getting about 6,000 lumens per square foot. Your UFO is probably producing about 1,500, which is why your plant is stretching and growing so very slowly.. I have a good site for you hold on let me find it

dood i paid 89.95 12.00 s&h fer my 150 watt hps...
here...

the cfl is just fer color spectrum.

he NEEDS to kno, any who baks up a UFO. needs a good....verbal...no, TYPING abuse to get it in there that unless u got ten twenty, of em, or REALLY good 1s......they SUCK. sorry dood, the truth hurts.


sum website that i found is where i got mine. fergot the fukin name, it was a while ago and she is still running STRONG, bout to get that 400 tho.

my advice, if you want it to work out just try to return the ufo, if you can. If you can afford a hps that would be the way to go. If not, buy a bunch of cfls, like 200 watts worth, minimum.
