i would say its probably not real purple kush, some purple strains of marijuana turn purple from the leaves inward as the plants ripen. ex. grand daddy purp you can click the link to my grow journal in my signature those particular strains are very temperature dependent. true purple strains such as true purple kush the leaves will be green you may see purple stems there will be some variation. however the flowers will be purple right from the start i can also back this up with a photo here is an example of purple kush

It's just regular Purple Kush from feminized seeds.

They may turn during final ripening stage.
Mine just turned purple at 9weeks of flowering.
same, my sundae driver just started throwing those purple shades. I’m convinced it’s the drop in temp at night and early morning since it started right when the cooler weather arrived. I was always told it’s the cooler temps that trigger the colors In the plants with colorful genetics. If you’re really shooting for that purple maybe slowly decrease the temps at night simulating fall approaching maybe that could trigger it?
