My plant is taking forever to finish flowering(running out of time) southern Ontario here. But the bottom half looks like it's maturing quicker than the top. Can anyone explain?
Why is the bottom of my plant maturing faster than the top?

In my experience the buds with the most light ripen faster..
But this looks strange I'd almost say maybe there's something that's shocked the plant maybe? Has it been cold?

I've never seen it but I don't grow outdoors..

This week is the warmest it's been for a couple weeks.... I've been hoping she's gonna mature quicker but here I am....should I choo the bottom half?

Yeah but I'm wondering if there was a cold spell that cause some kind of mild stunting.

Ya it was like 15 through the day...like 5 at night for like 2 weeks

Yes that's enough to definitely stunt plants.

Id guess it's putting the resources into the buds closest to the roots. So at this point it's not really gonna have a growth spurt and start finishing off

You could just cut a bud off the bottom, and test it. Quick dry it.

what makes you think the lowers are more ripe than the top? The browning pistils?

They're way more full and look totally different...like wayy different
