good point. I find that too much light will slow plant growth. i'm an old soil grower and don't know anything about hydro. never considered trying it. too much work and too many things can go wrong. more concerned about growing high quality medicine than high quantity. not a commercial grower and don't make money from my grow. I grow more than I need and give my surplus to cancer victims.would rather have 1 ounce of 1 hit bud that effectively treats pain, nausea,depression and insomnia that 1 pound of mexican dirt weedYup starting to notice that too much light and/or ferts and you can cause a deficiency/lock out in something for sure. I actually have started a regimin of lowered lights in the beginning and then turning them up in stages and bringing it back down in a similar way.
It's all a balancing act and if one of the 3 things is F'd up things can go sideways.
Really starting to look at making up my own soil as well. Tried Coco....not happy with it.
