Why should you take the 2016 Presidential election seriously?

if she loses, it won't be because of people like me who choose not to vote for her. It'll be because real progressives don't support corruption
If she loses, it'll be because Trump gets more electoral votes...

It's a shame 8-10 states pick the president. I'm glad I'm in one of them.

I'll try to get the supreme court in the left direction for you.

I don't want any conservatives picking supreme court justices, that's why I'm pretty angry with Clinton and the DNCs conduct during the primary that raised the likelihood of that risk coming to fruition

I didn't do that, and if she loses, it won't be because of people like me who choose not to vote for her. It'll be because real progressives don't support corruption
Maybe I have spent too much time in Washington or read too many history books but what the DNC did was far from surprising to me. It is par for the course and probably 90% of candidates in the nation's history have done it.

Tempest in a tea pot. The right wingers have gotten in your head.

My wife was over at her parents house today and came home with the following quotes. Hier father's head is 100% firmly planted up Fox's ass BTW.

"Bernie really sold out his supporters by backing Hillary"
And
"Maybe America needs a bully as President right now"

Both statements are without merit.

Believe it or not, if Trump gets the chance at the SCOTUS, you will be more to blame than the DNC.

Wait a minute, let me check...

That's interesting, almost 16 million people thought Hillary had the better chance of beating the GOP nominee. Chose Hillary by a margin well over 3 million voters. Paddy has a problem with Democracy. Because, the only correct choice was Bernie. And the majority didn't agree.

It didn't surprise me either. Many of us have been voicing these exact same concerns for months and it was always met with accusations of conspiracy theories. Now when we have direct evidence of collusion, all of a sudden everybody knew it was happening.. Well, why didn't they admit it was happening when we were saying it in the beginning?

How can you accept this? Clinton and the DNC are essentially saying they know what's better for you than you do and your vote is meaningless. What's worse is that they present themselves as neutral because they know that if they didn't, progressives wouldn't support them and they wouldn't vote for their candidate. It is a direct subversion of democracy.

I don't think Sanders "sold out" his supporters, and I don't think Trump would be a better president than Clinton, I think both would be a disaster

I disagree. I live in a deeply blue state, it's going to Clinton whether I vote for her or not

If she loses, I think it'll be because of this DNC leak and everything that has been exposed

Wait a minute, let me check...

Her campaign colluded with the media and the DNC and Sanders still won almost half of the vote. We will never know what the actual numbers would look like since she cheated, so holding up these numbers and saying "see, more people voted for her so she won fair n square!" is pretty meaningless.. If we're racing a mile and I get to start 800m ahead of you, is it fair for me to claim victory at the end of the race when I beat you?

The persecution complex and underdog narrative helped him just as much as any DNC tinkering hurt him, which is to say probably some but not much.

Show me in the rulebook where it says anything the Sanders campaign did during the primary was against the rules, because I can show you almost a dozen rules the Clinton campaign and the DNC broke to get her elected

You're not in a position to determine to what degree anything helped or hurt his campaign. The fact is they cheated, and they wouldn't have cheated if they thought she would win without it

I would suggest that you vote for Hillary. Do you really want Donald picking two SCOTUS ? Get over yourself and this unhealthy obsession with Bernie as POTUS. He is with Hillary now... and so should you
But what if she wins? No, definitely never voting for her for fear of that. By the way, I will hold all of you responsible for your complicity in election fraud if you vote for her.

And youre in a position to know that all those millions of votes that she had over him were a result of "cheating"? Get real

So Nixon's people broke into the DNC offices because they were honestly afraid of losing the election to McGovern? Not likely.

Paranoia & ambition had more to do with it.

Hillary wasn't trying to stop a progressive agenda, she was just making sure that nobody made the world a better place unless it was her.

Trump is a dictator. Putin's less intelligent Mussolini.

As far as being in a position to determine to what degree it helped, did you read the 538 article on how close the primary was (or wasn't, actually)?

No, that's why I didn't make that claim. I said we have evidence that they cheated and it should be investigated to determine to what degree it mattered. They rigged a national election and there is evidence of it, wtf? If republicans did that all of you would be demanding an investigation, rightly so. But when, in your minds, the only democrat that can beat Trump does it, it's OK because we can't let Trump win, no matter what, even if it means cheating

This behavior gives republican retards like some of the members of this forum ammunition against all of us on the left. It tells them that when we criticize the exact same kind of behavior when republicans do it that we're just hypocrites. If you don't call this shit out when your own team does it, how in the hell can you expect someone with opposing political beliefs to do it when their team does it? And thanks to this shit, we all get fucked in the end.

Being in a blue state changes it for me. Vote for the Keebler elf for all I care.
