The hatred come s from accomplished growers who have failed probably more than once to grow autos and throw in the towel take the easy way out.... Then go around telling everyone there waste of time...... I've read people calling auto s like original low ryder auto ak that I fell in love with useless waste of time....................... What if auto s were always around.... And there was no such thing as a photo plants... And then these photo plants were coming out a plant that needed light off for 12 hrs uninterrupted dark.. Heaters... Timers... All the extra bullshit..... I wonder how these photo plants would go down.....probably be the same people give n out and giving people bad advice basically ther useless.......... Auto s or photos...... We all in the same boat..... Peace sorry for the rant love the thread
I hate fucking tomatoes .... I think no one should grow tomatoes, squash yields so much better and tastes great why would you waste your time growing tomatoes ......
I run hydro, and my autos are looking good, but with only three weeks left I'm a little unimpressed with where they are at now. It also seems like a lot of other people had that issue, getting so far into their grow and not being happy with it. I'm looking for big, frosty, branch bending nuggets-by like week 5 out of 8. Instead of being at the same interval before harvest and my shit is barely starting to fatten up, like with what's going on nowI grew autos a few times in the past. Out of the 40 or so seeds I dropped (over a 3+ year period), I think maybe 5 plants turned out to be "smokeable", most everything else I had to bubble hash, and a few I simply tossed. I ran both soil and hydro environments, and I used super soil, and UC buckets respectively. I maintained consistent ph balance and my nute ppm runoff never went over 1000ppm.
I also ran super soil for my reg/fem seeds/clones with consistent ph balance and water runoff never peaked 1000ppm -- ALL of them flourished, producing delicious nugs of goodness and I've even did some pollen chucking and made a few crosses. With about the same level of effort as my auto grows.
But I suppose I can understand why people would grow autos. It's just not for me, I don't see the point. The same level of effort can be applied to photo genetics with better results, almost every time.
Clearing up light leak in a grow cab -- try taping off the area and using spray foam to seal the holes/cracks, then remove the tape to give yourself clean lines. It will also help insulate.
Then don't?I hate fucking tomatoes ....
So back to what I said, you cannot clone these, and making seeds is a crap shoot, I have zero plans to grow autos they are not worth my space, just finished running gorilla glue#4 and golden goat, next run is white fire og and tangie pretty sure no auto's compare to the thc content and flavor these cuts give. Good luck with your autos.$12 bottle of CS and a 10 pack of some beans from a respectable breeder and you could easily have thousands of beans ...... the beans i have left from when i quit growing years from now i pop em no need for pheno hunting they are all good ...... if a auto doesnt yield , get you high , or finish in 75 - 80 days then you have shitty genetics its that simple or you cant grow...... same could be said for photo's
you gotta pop it in the microwave with the salsibury steak first ...... ....Then don't?
Can you elaborate what it's like to fuck a tomato? Inquiring minds want to know.
sooo pretty ..... BKR ? you have any pics showing the stability plant to plant from any of your seeds runs ?? i cleaned all my electronics a while back so no pics ..... I dont know about the chem taste bro your berries tasted like jasmine to meAutos suck period. They flower too fast and take up too much space. They are fluffy as hell and taste like chems. Did I mention that they attract mites. In most cases they tip over from being too heavy. Damn autos........

Autos suck....Too bad people don't give em a shot. They are missing out bbbiiiigggttttiimmmmeee.
Ridiculous easy to grow yep .... But obviously not easy to get big hard nice bud for ::accomplished growers ;;: or this thread be non existingAutos are ridiculously easy to grow, I doubt any " accomplished growers" have trouble growing them.
Took this today. These are the BKR F2s. Lot of variation. Nothing is stable yet.you gotta pop it in the microwave with the salsibury steak first ...... ....
i understand you cant clone them ...... it keeps getting repeated ...... but fems you make yourself are pretty dam stable .......

Oh it's REAL easy. Get them under bigger lights.Ridiculous easy to grow yep .... But obviously not easy to get big hard nice bud for ::accomplished growers ;;: or this thread be non existing
Nice job man.... I Def wouldn't call them uselessOh it's REAL easy. Get them under bigger lights.
Pulled these out today. Chopped a couple at the base. The others need a another week or two. All under a 600. 1 gallons.

Those look amazing man. I did a run of fast and vast awhile back, it looked very similar. Plenty of yield for me lol. Had enough to permanently bake someone.Took this today. These are the BKR F2s. Lot of variation. Nothing is stable yet.

I think they dont like them because you cant clone em!I've been reading a fair amount of articles where most of the folks exclaim their absolute hatred for autoflower strains. I'm just curious as to why? Auto's definitely have there place...
What are the thoughts on autoflower strains?
Wow you so contradict your self! they suck and they are great if you have room? Some people grow in fucking PC cases. I think a small auto would suit such a grow. Fertile soil from the start, occasional watering, 20/4 light on a timer, maybe some airflow...no transplanting and no training.
I only have 2 growing right now, but I think they're fun. Set it and forget it. You don't need to dick with them as much as other plants. Sure, they're tiny, but if you have the luxury to try something new and grow for fun, then why not?
