For sure! I had to add Cal-Mag after adding just 2 400w (amazon quality) LED's to my 600w HID setup to supplement light and spectrum. As soon as I added them, bam, clear and obvious signs of calcium, then soon after magnesium deficiency. It was in late flower, but I found that cutting back on the nutes a bit and adding some Cal Mag (appeared) to resolve the issue not long after. I heard it is because of the UVA/UVB spectrum in full spectrum LED's?...
LEDs have very little UV in their spectrum. adding UV late in flowering will increase THC,CBD and other cannibals and stimulate chlorophyll and carotene production but CMH,10000k MH or fluorescent bulbs are the best way to supplement the UV, VIOLET and blue spectrum. using white LED's (bridgelux EB strips) I saw cal-mag deficiency in new plants sprouted from seed. this does not occur with HPS,MH,CMH or fluorescent lights
i think you are commenting on the ones i took right after i first bent the branches down. its been doing quite well.Looking good MadZen; a little droopy looking in one or two pics but that might just be the way they are though.

Hydroplanet™ 150W Grow Light is the most recent light purchase I made, as recommended from another poster in this thread.
Indeed, I am adding UVB compact bulbs on my next grow during flower for that reason specifically. I knew UVB spectrum increased potency, but what about UVA?...I've heard of it's sterilization properties like in water treatment and etc.

So, my set up is
1 Mars Hydro 300W LED hanging roughly 18-20" above
2 CFL 20W in lamps 6-7" away from sprout
Using Fox Farm Ocean Forest mixed with some Perlite. Added FloraGro for the first time today, and have FloraBloom for later on. Balanced pH at 6.5. Temperature stays around 85 with 35-50% humidity. 12" inch desk fan on highest setting to maintain air flow, balance temperature and provide resistance for growth.
This is in my closet, a rather small space. The walls of the closet have white paint with some texturing.
Strain is AK-48 from Nirvana Seeds.
My set up has changed a lot since that picture. The CFLs are out, but half of the LED went out so I am using that as a secondary light now and I replaced it with a 150W HID. Look at my last picture posts for an up to date look at my set up.
Half of that panel isn't working, so I just tried to maximize the half that is.I am interested in supplementing my 600w HID with LED panels and am very interested in how you have yours vertical...does it block any of the airflow/vents for blowing out hot air? Is hanging them sideways a bad idea for any reason? Looks to be working well for you. I see you got a new light, what kind?!

Nope, she is looking beautiful.Unfortunetly that is the down side about cheaper LEDs; you sorta don't know whether or not it is as reliable as it says. But because you have been so quick to correct any problem that has arised, it seems you are having a pretty good grow despite the set backs.
