Hang in there if you can, an early harvest will rob you of a lot of kick, taste, ect.

Im in the same situation as you bro, just keep her going as long as you can, cover her at night if its going to frost out, build a mini greenhouse if you can. Also you can put a small closed container filled with hot water near the base of the plant to let out heat throughout the night.

Just keep her goin as long as possible.

There are 2 kinds of frosts in the fall. The 1st frost and then the killing frost. The former doesn't kill all plant life. Many plants are tolerant to light frost. However the killing frost when that comes everything dies save for the hardiest green matter. Yes the 1st frost comes around 32 degrees. The killing frost is usually below 30 and more than likely in the low to mid 20's. All the leaves will just drop instantly, vegetables all turn black save for things like onions, garlic sets.

Since you're already in the mid 40's in 2 weeks you might get a frost, there for you should check out grow clothes that will protect your plants. There's a website Garden Supply (think that's the name) that has a lot of specialty covers. You could make a little green house to. You could just go with plastic(like 3 mil or better). That wont protect too well alone but you could put some heat in side...cut your nice green lawn or someone else's. Grass clipping give off a lot of heat.

I should add I'm talking about vegetation in general. Don't let your MJ experience 32 degrees. Why I'd be careful about anything below 40. 40 is a magic number in the world of vegetation. To be on the safe side start protecting your time investment now.
