Read the article. It says nothing to that.if it jeopardizes our right as medical marijuana patients to grow our own 6 plants for our medicine then I for one am against it
I certainly don't want to see big business take over, abuse and regulate cannabis, but saying you don't want it legalized is really a discrace.that's a big word I said if..I don't care to read the article, I don't want it to be legalized either.
Not an uncommon desire amongst growers. Without mj being illegal, prices crash and big business gets into the game.Seems like a step in the right direction at least. With almost half the states accepting medical now, it seems like its only a matter of time.

If you love this plant, you should want it legalized period. People need to stop being put in jail over a plant.
wait what did you say, you don't want to get arrested, that's funny cuz it will still be illegal in the feds eyes.. so no matter you being a card holder or just a pot head that wants it legalized, we can still be arrested for marijuana.Oh I've watched that bad attitude for the last 6 years on here. I feel the same now as i did back in 08 when I joined RIU.
That is a bad attitude for any Cannabis enthusiast to have. Its fueled by greed rather then by love. Greed is why cannabis is illegal in the first place. Love will be the only way to change that. I'm a grower and I would much rather not have to worry about getting arrested then make a little more profit. Even if its legalized the market will not disappear, and the prices aren't gonna just drop. CO is a perfect example of that, from my understanding prices have not dropped.
You keep doing what your doing Commander Strax! I just offered a counterpoint to the legalization greed argument. Most people that slam legalization seem to be for profit growers and not those that grow for personal use or share for free. So I just responded to a ridiculous statement with the equally ridiculous inverse of that thought.. I don't think greed really is playing any favorites on either side of this debate, there will always be people focused on money and protecting their own.legal or not I will still grow in my closet. No greed, just cheap weed.
I think that one of the groups that defeated the legalization in California was the dispensaries and the Doctors, so you are absolutely rightYou keep doing what your doing Commander Strax! Well then I'd love to hear what you consider an "good" reason not to legalize.
