Wonder Woman and PPP Grow

You are ripping it, dude... That WW def looks like she'll break two ounces; killerskunks look really happy!
I can only hope that she does. The Killerskunks have impressed me so far. very vigourous and healthy. This is a new strain that came out in 2009 i think. Its a 75% 25%mix between "Blues" an old Skunk#1 pheno that has been grown from clone in the Uk for decades by a select few. I've heard when you get good weed in the Uk it is usually called the Blues by default and marketing puposes. and thats been crossed with DJ Shorts original Blueberry. To get seeds.

A freind of mine managed to get a ten pack of seeds and spent the last 6 months growing cloning and picking out good females. Im just lucky enough to be benifiting from his hard work.It seems like once they put these seeds up for sale there gone I had the pleasure of smoking some of this weed. It is like nothing i have ever smoked before. its exactly the high that ive been looking for. I cant wait to smoke some more!:bigjoint:

yeah, the wonder woman looks super heavy, 5oz for sure, im praying for you brother!

so nice to have new strain next round! are the clones. did you take any cuttings from this round?

Thanks bro! Its always good to see you have stoped by. 5 oz would be killer the only reason i think she could put off that much is the fact that her buds are so dense. But well just have to weight and see.

I cant wait to bloom these Killers. Unfortunatly my grow is not going to be perpetual this time. I got a late start with the Killers. had to wait for my friend to get healthy clones for me. Im going to let these plants go 8 weeks on veg, or 2 feet in height which ever comes first. They double in height after 12/12. Im looking to have a room full of 4 foot plants this next grow!

Before i put them to flower im going to get one of those 50 jiffy cube type cloning stations and fill that thing with cuttings and then ill pick the best 6 or 8 and veg and flower those . I plan on keeping this strain for as long as i can. Ill grow some other strains as bumpers only. I think i have found my main strain!

Here are some pics of Killerskunk grown by a guy over ar UK420 named Mr Mullen. damn things look like there armor plated!:o Ohh and here is what the dude on the front of the seed pack looks like.

Wow... look at those stacked pistils in 'en echelon' formation... dang!

Nice looking journal, That looks similar to the one maxwell had to me. Doesn't look anything like my Wonder Womans........ But I love my pheno.....

It does kind of remind me of maxwells as well.I had another Wonder that was a beautiful plant but she hermied on me. I always thought this one was kind of a ugly plant. Just as long as there is alot of good looking trimed and cured bud in jars. That all that matters in the end i guess Thanks for stoping by:mrgreen:

Ya im hoping to get these ladys to 4'. Hopefully my room is big enough there realy starting to bush out. They love that Sunshine#4 There growing faster than they ever would have in Fox Farm.

So those cloning stations worked pretty well for you.Did you feed the clones in the soiless plugs? How strong was you feed? About how long was your rooting time? Im not much of a cloner ive always grown from seed. but with this Killer strain i need to get proficant at cloning and fast. Always good to here from you bro!:eyesmoke:

yeah thanks bro. it took about 2-3 weeks with the rockwool. this time im using soiless plugs, i think they'll work better for me . im hoping like 2 weeks to root. i do feed them, but people tell you not to. i feed em very weak, not veg nutes, but like 2 tsp superthrive a gallon. i use a home depot sray bottle. once they're damp, i give each plug 2-3 sprays, 1-2 times a day. just keep them moist, not wet. if the droop at all, lessen light. i keep the dome on the whole time, if they're errect for two days, you can open the vents a little. probably better if you could givem 20/4 or 18/6 lighting. i give mine 24/0 because they are in the veg closet. i use dyna gro gel rooting hormone. hope this helps. i've never lost a clone, it's just things you do could make it take longer, if it's too wet. if the enviornments too wet, you could get mold. don't spray the leaves, just the plugs, and the dome inside.

Thanks for the info bro! Im going to give it a shot. I like the idea of a lite superthrive feed on the root area. Im sure ill do just fine. We ahall see in the next month or so if I have cloning skills, lol!

Day 63: There rippining up very nice i think. they are densing up and the pistals are retreating into the buds and turning amber. The trichs are just showing hints of amber so im thinking another 3-5 days.:joint: Check out the leaning tower of bud! and the back side of the Wonder Woman.:weed:

Day 67: Harvest! I took me 7 hours straight of trimming to get the job done. I think ill be dreaming of trimming buds for the next week or so, the last couple of hours were a blur.

Anyway, im pretty happy with the results, there was more bud than i thought. Not sure about weights yet, but soon.

Now its time for some trimmed bud porn!:hump:

It does hurt a little when you look back in a day or two and they have shrunk down.

I just pulled and hung 6 PPP out of my "sog" and was thinking the same thing. It is amazing how much weight and size they give up in the first couple of days.

I need a pair of spring loaded sissors. Using the normal ones will cause blisters and calouses on the backs of your fingers.

Have you ever heard what the idea drying and curing humidity is? I wana to build a controlled drying box. My room is 30% and it flash srys the outside of them.

Looks good!. Im running humidity at 35% to 40% But i live in a very dry enviroment so i dont like to let them dry for more than 2 days 3 days max and then ill finish drying them in Mason Jars. I like to put into jars once the outside layer of the bud just starts to get crisp. Id rather them go into jars on the damp side instead of dry.

Did any of your PPP plants have a minty smell to them while your were triming? I Had had one that had a serious minty aroma to it.

Yes, it did almost a cross between pine and licorish(sp?). It was a surprise.

I almost ruined some putting it in the jars too quick, but now it it the other way around. The room air is dry due to the flowering room air. That's why I want to build a drying temperature. Set it at the right temperature and just look in on it weeks later. Tabaco is dried and cured in the air, so you should be able to just hold them at a humidy, keep that air flowing, and then pull them out fully cured and dried.

Oh, sorry, and I am only running one mother plant. Due to space constraints. I only sprouted one of the 5 seeds I got. This one is a litle long on the flower, and may replace her with another one, as I ahve a Afghan Kush sprouting now.

Keep up the good growing!
