Wood Ash?

Came across a video the other day.

This guy took Wood Ash that had been stored in the dry.

Took 1 gallon of Wood Ash put it in a 5 gallon bucket then filled the bucket up with water. Stired it.

Then took 1 cup per gallon of water put it on his plants. Yes they were Tomatoes but I was still thinking on it.

I have about 3 Wheelbarrows full each year.

Truth Wood Ash scares me because it took hide and some meat off all my fingers one time.

Has anyone else used this as a Fertilizer? I already use Rainbow Pro Mix Grow and and later Bloom.

wood ashes can burn,so be carefull. but i put them in with my soil (propper dirt soil) and it works great. i believe you can use them, but i would think you need a small amount.
wait for someone else to chime in, they may have done this themselvs. so will havew much better info. useing hard wood or soft wood makes a differance to what nutes are in it in

Some people online say don’t use it on berries and things like that, but you can supposedly use it for flowering cannabis, so.

I know but by the time it is cut down it should be fine.

I have created a big problem not thinking have been just dumping it on my regular Garden. So I know I will change.

I'm wondering about using lime to turn PH around?

It gives a quick k boost but washes through the soil pretty quickly. Too much will lock out calcium. I give my mother's in 5 gallon buckets about a tablespoon per plant once per month. Less is more.

Well you see if you cut it down your not giving really that much.

I'm going to start using Sunshine 4 and have been mixing Grow Fertilizer in at the start.

I read somewhere it didn't have enough lime but a Grow Shop yes was pushing Happy Frog which I have been using. They read up on Sunshine 4 and said it had plenty lime don't put extra.

I'm thinking this will be good to start just before flip.
