I don't have a clue what my temps are. Its not warm and with the fans blowing uncomfortably cool in a t-shirt. I'm thinking of running my lights in the day so I get cooler nights.

I'll just have to wait and see, I did read somewhere that the purple starts to show in the last 2 weeks.
 
Oh I went there alright! I get ahead of myself sometimes cracking seeds. Its supposed to be 2 every 2 weeks but somewhere in there I did like 5 in 2 days :)

I'm Very happy with this method of cloning! I simply cut the middle man out and went straight to a 2 liter from fresh cut clones, i soaked them once at the very start and then on 1 week,first few rooted after 12 days and the roots are only an inch from the res,they all look very healthy and I would imagine all roots will be balls deep in the res a week from now .I hope to really dial this in so that every clones roots hit the res in 14 days, this will fit nicely into my system im developing

Cloning in the 2L's makes perfect sense. I considered it but don't have the space to make it work for me.

I wouldnt do it in straight perlite, the clones stem has to be to be kept wet and perl drys out too quick.

for me this method is perfect, i dont need to water at all, the coco wicks up all the water it needs, totally hassle free cloning!

i am planning on mixing the coco with perlite when i start recycling, the res will be fresh perlite still, but i think having a mix up top could help cloning!?

I'm primarily a seed guy but I too am 100% with clones stabbed into a party cup of coco coir when I need some...glad to see someone go straight into 2L. It has to be faster to the finish line....
 
With my current PE's @ 25days flower and on their first dose of PK13, it's time to start something else. I've always wanted to do some UK "Cheese" as I've never tasted that strain here in the US or even been exposed to a source. I have some 1/2" Grodan mini-cubes on order and want to try them hempy style so I'll do a 2-gal rock-wool only hempy with an Attitude freebie; Dynafem "White Cheese Auto". After another week I'll start up a couple of photo-period girls; Barney's Farm "Blue Cheese". My current mapito grow is doing so well I want to stick with it again for the Blue Cheese but with a slight twist. The current mapito grow is 1" rockwool cubes and ≈3/4" PU flake. I want to try the 1/2" mini-cubes of rockwool with coco-chunks as a side by side comparison to that. Of course clones would be a better comparison but, it's all good in hempy....here's to some "cheese to please".

Hey guys I need some advice. Well I met some fellow growers here when I was at the apple store. The tech was a grower. Well me and my partner met them up and came to an agreement. I would help them push all their product and I get 33 percent. And I also agreed to sell them 240 rooted and vegged for two weeks clones for 2500. Did I make a good deal? They are growing perpuetual 3-5 lbs a month. I get 1000 per lb. plus the 2500 a month. It's alot of extra money but idk if I'm getting myself in over my head

...high man, i'm still new around here so i haven't had time to come to know your system yet but i know a thread that might could fit into your system quite nicely, ...it's mainly a thread on keeping and maintaining bonsai mothers but in it you will find information on cloning in straight perlite, ...he does it in bins so he is able to fit quite a few clones in a small space, especially if the cuts are all clone sisters.

...actually, this guy has several really good threads and i thought you might like seeing HIS little SOG, lol, ...and don't let the fact that this guy grows under CFLs fool ya, this guy is an EXPERT grower, ...CFLs is just what he's playing with in retirement, ...he had triple bypass surgery last year so he's slowing down his growing rather than expanding his op and his knowledgebase.

I would just advise you to be VERY careful with what ever decisions you make.
