I like to hit the hairpin and the boyscout run before it's all elbows and assholes but I really like to fish the Big Man anywhere but tippy.

Boyscouts not bad. Boat launch can be good too. Cant forget the HIGH banks. Lol. It does get crowded like you said. I haven't fished the west side of the state since I was a kid. I'd like to try it sometime. I've heard tippy is crazy crowded.

Two 600w's should be okay, perfect if you have a dedicated A/C. I run a single 600w in a 2x4.

I found some "Party City" stores in my neck of the woods.....I want some of those for a keg party.....seriously.View attachment 2555145 I grabbed 3 of these buckets from party city for less the 2.00 totalIt looks like an oversized party cup but its actually a little bigger then 1 gallon. Heat won't be an issue. My tents in the basement which is cool. My temps with lights on is only running 68-70 atm. I guess my question is, would there be a significant improvement in yield to offset the electricity bill?

Yes, I have a 600 watt and a 400 watt and I'm very pleased with them. I have the 400 watt in a 2'x4'x5' tent and the 600 watt in a 4'x4'x7', though I am using the bulbs that came with them and I'm looking at changing to Hortilux for the next grows.

More light = more growth.
But with 2 different hoods in a small space, both probably designed to be in the center of the space, you're going to put a good % of your total output on opposing walls. So you're most likely not going to get full use of your watts.
600 is plenty for a 4x4, but if you can handle the heat and want to go nuts, I'd think you'd be better served with a single 1k with a good hood, or a large single hood that could hold a pair of 600's.

Found a fucking hermie in my seed plants. Ill have to keep a close eye on the rest as they are the same genetics. 3 freaking weeks in and the bitch has bananas and tiny immature seeds. Guessing that the heavy ppms brought that out or it was just genetically fucked from the start. Not really seeimg any burnt pistils on other plants so I may have gotten lucky. Just my luck i guess to always be battling herms...that or my propensity to grow 5+ varieties at a time. Really guessing it was genetics (which scares me lol) since all my variables are tight...pitch black, temps 66-80 consistent, humidity 41-60 consistent et cetera...well other than hitting em with high ppms maybe this girl just couldnt take it.

I have a question? I have finally found a few plants for possible mother plants, When and how do I take cuttings for Clones? I'm afraid to take any from flowering branches.

TGIF for "Stoner's Insurance" someone posted about tying your lights off 2 x just in case and it looks like it saved me last night, I went into the Boom room to find the light had fallen, about 2 inches, so instead of ruining my whole grow, I just burnt a few leaves.

You can take clones from a flowering donor, but these will need additional time to revert back to veg before they start growing again. Some people who scrog like me prefer clones from flowering plants as they can tend to be more branchy, but the extra time (up to 3 weeks sometimes) to revert can be a hassle. I just top when they get their feet under them and usually have no problems.
As far as cloning I usually wait till the donor has at least 6 nodes then I cut the smaller branches off the bottom. If using a mother you can cut from about anywhere and this will help to keep her short and bushy.

Ya the boat launch is good but I prefer the consumers run just down from that. Lol combat fishing on the highbanks, not for me I like to at least get a decent drift each cast. Tippy is even worse than the highbanks on its worst day, for a solitary fisherman like me it's pure hell. I like to make numerous "offerings" to the fish gods and crowds get in the way of that if you know what I mean.
