I have a box, i made years ago, but its only 1.5 ft x 1 x 3ft, little small, i think ill put 2 or 3 23w cfl's in that, its small but i think it should work for clones, i radial cut 2 circles in the back, one at the top one at the bottom, and put 2 little computer fans in it, and packed the back with carbon, simple but it should work out... in the summer it retains way to much heat for anything tho. if heat is still an issue i think ill purchase a 2x2x4 tent for veg

That should be fine. It's way bigger than what I veg in height wise but a little smaller footprint. If you let plants get taller you might want to hang some CFLs to light the lowers as they have crap penetration.

Well after an epic failure with the cheapo $7 camera, I bought a $30 cheapo WalMart camera! So here ya go, these are at just under 4 weeks:

I don't get why those wavy lines appear, it only does it when I take pics in the tent. I am not sure if it is heat or UV rays. I turned off all the fans so that wasn't it. Here's one taken outside the tent. FJG, note the size, it is around 9 or 10 inches now:

And finally a couple more:

I plan on cloning this weekend so I'll take some pics of my clone set-up and post them! bongsmilie

how does it connect to the computer? you may have to download the drivers for that particular camera if its an older one... they aren't plug and play like the new ones..
yeah id love to have some one else to ref to! how far along are they?
:blsmoke:
Hey FJG - it was a compatibility issue. I was able to download them on my work PC running Windows XP, but they looked like crap so I said screw it and bought a bit more expensive, but still cheap camera.

They looking good mine are half the size , the rockwool def slowed things down with my seedlings, but they still look healthy, i believe the lines are from your ballast, are you running a magnetic one by chance? :peace:

I veg in a big Rubbermaid tub w/two 23w CFL's and a PC fan for cooling. With Solo cup Hempy's you can get them to 6 inches or so and put them right into your flowering room.

They are healthy, I have not had any major problems with this grow so far (fingers crossed!). The ballasts are built into the lights (they're 150w), so it could be magnetic.

I watered them today with PH-right water and some DynoGro Protekt in preparation for flowering. I'll introduce my flowering nutes at about 1/4 strength to start. I'm going to use GH MaxiBloom for this one.

Lamopa, If you have an HID lamp with a transformer ballast, it's common to get hum-bars in all your photo's. You pretty much have to catch them just before or just after "lights-on" with some normal light source to get clean pics. Looking good though as is...
Stay cool, stay lit,

Thank you very much. Haha WattSaver, no i will not be able to wait until cure :) Ill have me some taste when its dry :) But that said. Do you have a special way of drying and curing? I dried to fast the last time.
This Snowcap is so green and healthy looking, the only plant of 4 that did not really care about the pests. So i had to make a clone :) Very mixed strain reviews, either it is the ultimate dank, or its a mild buss. Well will see.
Glad you did not leave WOH who :) :)

this gal is killing me, she just leaning way too much.....I'm avoiding bracing it up....but may need to deal with it soon as the buds are starting to fatten up

ISK, any plant that is leaning is a keeper...she's showing you the weight of her uppers which is so what you want right now. Tape a bamboo stake or even a wooden dowel rod to the side of your container and use some green-wire or even some old shoe strings to pull them up to the stake. Your girls are sexy though with lots of class, I'd use bikini floss if you have some around.

thanks Jela......This gal was a leaner from a few weeks old....I been struggling to straighten her up but just gave up the battle....so the leaning is not really due to heavy buds but more due to reaching for more direct sunlight.

So I'm not sure how I will water it if I tie her up, as I typically water, let drain, then return into the base box. If I tie her up I'll have to let the waste water sit in the base-box....which is not ideal.

I am concerned as the buds get bigger they could snap the branch....but I want to wait as long as I can before breaking out the bikini floss :)
