depends on the size of the grow area you will need six to flower but you can veg with 3 of them... make sure you keep the lights as close as you can with out burning them.... good luck
I have found the more light the merrier Just make sure you have enough lights and make sure that they are close to the plants so you don't end up with a bunch of stretched girls
these eco lights use 75 percent electricity and have less mercury so i feel for some reason they might not work but we will see. I happen to have a 6 pack
Yes indeed, it appears that LST and Scrog setups are a good choice when working with CFL's. You can control where the light hits the plants much more easily as you're working with a level canopy instead of a taller, multi-level plant.
In a hypothetical grow, one might take the six eco-bulbs and scrog one plant, spacing the lights strategically and evenly over the screen...allowing it to vegetate a bit longer due to keeping it's actual height lower. When flowering, it seems that more light is utilized efficiently as one is better able to get the lights closer over the whole plant, and all the buds grow from the canopy so none get any less light than the others which certainly helps the quality I'm sure. Using LST properly acheives a similiar effect.
I've also read that two per plant works great, so if one had three females, perhaps they could rock out with a scrog and a six pack...lol
