I voted other only because of my occupation. I am in school to become a teacher and currently work with children at a daycare center. I go to work after a hit or two out of the pipe because it keeps me much more relaxed, and makes me better with the kids. When I get my own classroom though I will never be anything but completely sober. It just depends on the situation like everyone says

I speak only for myself here, but weed affects my judgment in a deep way. If I'm high enough to like being high, I'll get into a space where I'm constantly wondering about appropriateness. Weed acts somewhat like a psychedelic in me in that regard, and for me - that's where the coolness lives. (This my earlier answer.) So I would be uncomfortable being high and then doing anything requiring good, fast decisions: driving, operating power tools, or being around people who don't already know what i'm like while behemped. cn

For me it's pretty much a good relaxant. I do some of my best ideation while buzzed. I like the feeling of working on a problem and getting all the kinks out of it and making something out of nothing. I can do it straight, but not as fast and it's certainly not as enjoyable.

I think if my kid wanted to paint pictures with me I think it would be nice to be stoned and understand his simple little mind. Playing computer games with him, I would kick his ass if I was sober anyway... Up to a certain age there wouldn`t be a problem other than keeping an eye on him so I would toke it up.
I say don`t be too stoned often. I would still just walk in with bright red eyes smoking a joint and play with him at times, his not gonna remember anyway =D

Not super stoned but you can be a little high ... I picked up the kid I babysat when I went over there I was pretty stoned but I sobered up on the bus ride I got lost so it took a while but once I got there I was sober so it was okay

No, no to being high az fuck, and yes to being alittle buzz n chill cause some kids are crazy as shit n will run ur nerve, so being high/ buzz might help u in the long run.... Believe me I notice a difference... Lmao... And no I wouldn't smoke infront of my kids, but I'd chief discreetly when I could At the right time

I think it is easier to deal with kids when I am stoned, I am much less irritated by their inane prattle...lol. I don't think you should get stoned in front of them...but I think coughing in the bedroom and then coming out stoned is alright...lol, I have seen people just light up with kids in the room and I am against that...I don't think anyone should have to do anything against their will...as in someone shouldn't have to get stoned cuz you don't wanna leave the room, but seriously there would be fewer kids drowned in tubs if all those frazzled moms took blunt breaks every once in awhile.

i feel ya, but since ive been smokin soo long its like my body has gotten use to bein high and my reactions are quicker if anythin. last car accident i got into i got hit from the side and my ex was in the passenger seat and if my high ass didnt look and react when i did she woulda been FUCKED. I hit the breaks just enough that he hit the front right side tire and my ex wasnt harmed. weed makes me like a fuckin ninja with them reflexes! i do still get like that too in public, but then i realize i dont give a fuck if anyone around me knows im high and that shit goes away. atleast you're smart enough to know how it effects you. i know people who cant drive for shit when they're high and they still do all the time...well come to think of it they cant drive sober either haha
smokin in front of the kids is iffy to me. i would never do it unless it was somethin that i could make look like a cig and it was outside so they werent just sittin in it. i remember when i was little my uncle rollin joints in front of us and smokin them in the livin room all the time. he would tell us he liked to roll his own cigs and honestly my cousins and i never second guessed that so i mean smokin around kids isnt as harmful as people make it out to be. me personally would try not to smoke around them at all. im with you tho if im not suuuuuuuuuuper high i cant deal with kids they get on my nerves way too easily and way too often.

Stoned can be different for each person. I'm always high, I raised my kids, went to work,and paid my bills high. Shitfaced stupid stoned though is another story...I always kept a pretty clear head while stoned, but other people do stupid shit like dry the baby in the microwave, now thats not good.

i think it depends on the setting. Iv baby sat, and sometimes, depending on how much you need to look after, its better to be stoned. i mean you can relate to a kid better when you dont thing eveything they are watching is completely retarded. i went to my family reunion and kicked it with my cousisn(6, twin 8s, and a 13year old) and they were all talking to me at once about different shit and i think if i was sober i woulda snapped but since i was stoned i somehow carried on 4 conversations at once HAHA
