You can most definitely share a story. My threads a pretty dead not really so much about research or anything so don't worry about it.
I honestly don't think it's death because if it was I'd be dead. I think it's been more of an eye opener to not take things for granted and be more appreciative to the things I dismiss. To elaborate on why I don't think it's really all that bad. Only money was really lost. Both wrecks caused no bodily harm. The one in the car didn't even do any damage at all. The one in the truck just over the weekend I was going about 40mph and kid was pulling out of a gas station. When I fishtailed out I could have hit a concrete pillar or on coming traffic, but nothing. Just like when the truck rolled back it could have easily ended up hundreds of thousands to a million or so in damages. Two tornados missed us. Fence got blown down but my neighbor's son in-law got us a good deal. Redoing it all with metal posts and i'm only getting charged $125. Not to mention when I first got back and going through a bit of a depressed angry state. I was out on my 1000rr, not my stunt bike, and just hitting some back roads. Cooking about 140 out of this wide sweeper and there's a Tahoe cop. Nailed it and just kept going and he tried to pursue. Locked up the brakes and down shifting hard to come from an indicated 187mph to make a 90* left turn onto some back roads. over took two other cops, turn down another road and there is a cop up in front of me just sitting in the road, take a right head up that way and the original cop I believe it was (Because it was a Tahoe SUV cop) is coming right at me, locked up the rear slid dumped the clutch and drifted a little to complete the 180 and took of back the directino I came from then back to the point I first turned off I took a left to continue in the same direction I was originally traveling and took a long detour home about an hour out of my way. No plates on the bike or anything. But seriously, that's not bragging, it's just admiting it was dumb fucking shit. Again I'll say I was an idiot and not thinking in my best mindset. I mean I have a great career and a an absolutely amazing 4yo son. I don't think it's death I think it's lessons and realizations of what my mindset skewed away from reality.
Scotch man, You are 100%. I'm not worried about the truck or anything. It'll be alright one way or another. But yes my son is the most important thing. Think life just wanted to remind me of what really matters and not all the bullshit associated with it.
Oh and funny note. If anything I think the gas station price sign was trying to get me for talking shit about gas going up $1/gal in about 2 months. LOL The gas station the truck rolled back in is the same exact one the kid was pulling out of that hit me.
