I'm kicking off this thread in the hallowed honor of the ancient wheeler dealers and junkmen - Feel free to add to the saga!

I'm glad I set the alarm for 6:45 this morning, it was totally worth it. We drove maybe 25 miles in total, took the dogs to several parks, hit a few excellent farm stands, had a nice lunch, and we got all of this stuff for right around twenty bucks total!
($100+ Ebay return, so not too shabby at all!)

No weapons/accessories, but roughly 1/3 of a full set of vintage MOTU figures!

Whaaaa? Can't tell if trolling/being a d-bag or serious...

@Alienwidow - Thanks, dude, it was a pretty sweet score. You mean Panthor? I've already got a few of him, heh. "Grandkids"?? Man, I'm only 41 - I collect some of this stuff. ;)
(Got most of this already, though, so a lot of it WILL be for sale/swap/passed on to kiddies. :))

Ya i totally forgot its name till you mentioned it. The bad guys stuff is always way cooler than the god guys stuff. Id way rather ride a purple plush panther than a green tiger, like WTF!!!!!!!!

Thanks man, but: It's worth far more, plus I'm keeping some, and commerce of this nature is not allowed here. ;)

More of a "show your finds" thread, if you feel me....
I know, i knew you wouldnt take it. But id say its probably worth easy 150 bucks. That spinning guy, the snake tongue guy, double head guy, suction face guy, fury bat symbol belt guy, heman, id pay 20 a piece for those, probably 30. Theres seven right there, and id pay 10 a piece for the other ones, and i dont even collect.

Sy-Klone ("spinning guy"), Tongue Lashor ("snake tongue guy"), Two-Bad ("double head guy"), Leech ("suction face guy"), and Grizzlor ("fury - furry? guy") are all very common figures, dude, and worth only a few bucks each incomplete.
Believe it or not, the Super Powers Martian Manhunter is probably the heavyweight at right around ten bucks. :)

I mainly keep these guys around for pure nostalgia....Mattel released a line a few years ago called 'MOTU Classics' which are better than the 80s originals in nearly every way possible. (Except for that vintage smell, sigh. :() Wifey got me hooked on this line, heh, but at $20-$30 per figure and upwards of $50-$100 per beast/vehicle, it's been one HELL of a ride!

Nah, he just sort of transformed/buffed up alongside Adam, as per the ol' Superman trope.

The 'Golden Roided Aryan' was never a favorite; I got so into the show as a kid due to the monsters, villains, fantasy settings, and the heart that this guy put forth. When Mattel ordered Filmation to essentially make a series of 22-minute toy ads, Mr. Scheimer outright refused and insisted that the shows that he and his team produced had more substance and social values.

RIP, Lou. You served as a surrogate father/mentor to so many of us in the 'Filmation Generation'.
