Yard sale/flea market/car boot/thrift store finds - Anyone else into this stuff?

Madballs? Of course, they are hugely popular, so much so that there is a punk band named after them and vinyl artists recreate them in all sorts of ways.

And MIMP/Muscle are two very different franchises/toylines. ;) Muscle derived from Kinnikuman ~
(Typically called 'Muscle Things' in the UK back in the day.)

Here are a couple of bootleg (Mexican) Madballs:

I had ALL of these and the mad balls line. Those muscle dudes were the best from a quarter machine you could get, still to this day!

I also had every single micro machine (remember those?!) And every set for them. Then one day my sister was baby sitting these 2 kids while i was at a baseball game and they took ALL OF EM... one fell swoop. I'm still butt hurt over this... lol

Oh what about those plastic tube things filled with water and a weird kind of pinball game, where you had to flip the little balls through the water into the hole?

Muscle men were the best. I'd love to peruse your collection, lou

"Peruse my collection", eh?

Sure man, I can flip some (tote) lids and grab some shots, if you'd like. Most of our stuff lives in large plastic totes in a large closet/creepy hidden room. I'd like to have some stuff on display once again, but we'ed need dozens of shelving units and a ton of extra space. Her collection alone consists of nearly 1000 dolls/figures.

when im working in real rich areas and i see shit piled up i do a slow drive by and check it out lol..

A good day out, overall. Not too hot, had a nice lunch, few decent finds, etc. Friggin tiiiiirrrreeeedd and ready for shower/beer...

Random stuff:
(Those non-standard N64 controllers will fetch $10-$20 each, I paid a buck for the pair.)

Finally broke down and grabbed a Wii, heh. Got everything pictured for $15 with a 'guarantee' from a fat little girl and her mum.
Everything is in nice, bright shape, just needed a bit of elbow grease here and there and a fine brush inside the dusty vents. The remotes have lanyards, but they smelled like rancid asshole so they are soaking. Anyone know what the gray bottle cap-looking things are?
I guess you control/play these games by waggling your arms around and gesticulating? This I've gotta try, drunk, lol....

The reliable farm market!

Price of everything shown, including lunches: Less than two $20s from the atm.
Enjoying a lovely early Summer day out with my chica, dogs, and assorted knucklehead delinquents: Priceless.
;)

;)
Good haul! I loved my Wii, there are few decent "proper" games to choose from but I loved Twilight Princess and Resident Evil 4, and I got pretty into the Wii Fit for a good while there until my joint condition started playing up and I discovered how much damage I'd done with all that yoga...
I never find any of that good shit at car boot sales, just a lot of stuff that smells funny and tatty furniture I don't have space for that I'll never get around to doing up :bigjoint:
