BHO 91 gram run 4-25-12

I did 2 45g runs with 10oz-B each run
Then cramed all in and ran 1 more 10oz-B
I did the run outside and waited 10 minutes
between each run.

--91 grams of popcorn nugs-leaf-trim-stem ground fine.

--Coffee filter added to the end of the extractor for fine filtering.

--total of 30 oz Butane

let sit for a few hour's

I use a coffee maker hot plate outside to hurry things along..

i bet, my super silver from a few years ago smelled right when i walked into my house hahaha. dont forget theres hash on those scissors too, i love that shit. some of my favorite hash is from just clipping. and im taking pics today or tomorrow, the top bud feels pretty dense so its probably a gram or so. amazingly, shes loving this heat and flowering pretty well. she took a few heavy rains and shook it off like nothing happened. talk about vigor lol, this bitch is hard to clone though so im gonna have to reveg and try it out. may move her to my clone box, convert it to a veg box. well, a reveg box to be precise. i think she could come back on the 14 hours of light here though, sun comes up at 6 and comes down at 8. just gotta leave some leaves and a little bit of bud, i was thinking of leaving the top bud since i saw a few seed casings. wonder if they'll still develop if theres 14 hours of light. and trimmings a hobby now, i havent harvested since last season so im somewhat looking forward to manicuring these girls. im a really meticulous trimmer too, sometime ill do it for hours just so i can get rid of all the leaf matter i can.

Secondly: Can you give me a smoke report on the Sour Diesel? Its one of the tastiest and most enjoyable experiences with bud i've ever had. Its the only super "fuel-like" bud i've ever smoked, but I fell in love with it.. In my next med grow I will definetely be starting several.
Sorry if I missed a smoke report on the SD already.. I know some strains are actually DOMINANT sativa (like yours appears to be) and some are dominant indica..

How well does your carbon scrubber work? Was there a page with detailed info on that?

A little loud at first. I took me 2 try's ta get it quiet yet with the door close

5 top cola's cut early - A few days hanging- then brown bag- into jar's a couple weeks.
39 grams dried and a few viable seed's


It's great for being ground, leaving you with the perfect consistency to roll it or put it in a bowl.

It's sill not too dry, but not exactly fresh off the vine.

Rolled a fatty and it went out 2 times, then stayed and burned perfect.
Smoked a bowl and it burns slow, and builds up a fat thick creamy hit
, sure is a nice way to say "SURPRISE!" to your lungs.

The taste: is beautiful, kinda woodsy and deep forest-ish with subtle hints of sweetness and diesel after taste.

Looks. Pure fluff- not compact at all. Tall, shiny to fat widths buds. (Pre cut colas-2-3 weeks early)

It's buds are long and skinny and tend to not be compact so she looks like a sativa dominated strain to me.

Though she has seed's- Not so many as to have affected her final outcome. Of 39g dried I only found
a dozen or so seeds. A few of which look viable so that's a pure bonus.


Over all- Yep I am straight up happy I grew her- She took nuits and tea's like a champ-
Fought with mites and home made Oil-mite's killer spray and my whole
learning curve and never even flinched. Very hardy,very easy to grow
and I cant wait to try growing her with the right light-soil set up.

Though she was a seed found in a couple nugs I picked up
months before I started my grow & I was lucky to remember I had it. lol

for sure, those buds dont lie! the 2 days of dark should be good, lowering the temps at all?

I removed a couple 64 w bulbs and temps stayed at 80-81 not great/not horrible. Taking out the tall girl's tonight means no more heat problem. Well.... not till the 400w hps gets here in the next couple days. lol
I do have a plan tho... Ive been busy getting thing together... I see a DIY in my near future...

Anyone have a link to a good water cooled tube light DIY ?

Has anyone done one themselves ? Advise and thought are welcome and if ya got a better

Things to come.

So I come across a sweet deal and pick up one new 400W

6" 400 w Sun Tube Grow Light, Harvest Pro MH + HPS Ballast


Starts me thinking about heat. Really don't want to deal with AC yet outside temp are going up.
I look into water cooled chiller/Tube's.. Ouch.$$$

Having built a ton of computers (which get hot) it dawns on me.

I now have 2

Copper Radiator About 5" x 4" x 1-1/2"


Last yet not least I found a

Corsair Nautilus 500 Water cooling Kit with CPU Block, Cooling Unit and Tubing


My thinking.

basic frame around the rim of radiators for fin protection-

2 - 6" to 4" reducers flanges
2- 6" wide extension tube's around 4 inches long

Take the radiators and place into the Extension tube attaching with JB weld type product
Drill 1/2 holes for the hoses.

Place one on each side and connect the air reducers one side connected to the scrubber and the other Either out the window or if it works well enough.
I will just leave the other extension open to the room.

The Nautilus 500 Water cooling is small yet I have used one before and they work great on computers.
I need to make a simple power cord.
Thinking mount 2 rings to the base of pump and mount on top the light(removable and movable)

Made to run with a small amount of fluid around 5 oz.
uses a fan to cool water
Looking for a good anti-freeze type fluid to use instead of distilled water.

I am hoping to daisy chain the 2 radiators into the one pump there by giving me a couple extra oz
once I prime the lines.


If not enough temp drop I will then use the N-500 for one side and connect a small water pump
place into a 5 gal ice cooler and freeze 1 gallon containers of water.
( 5 gal ice cooler with 3 gal water and one frozen gal) then connect that to the other radiator.

Spent so far
$114. new Light
$9. x2 new Radiators
$35. used D-500 water cooling system.

should try to get lower temps before adding the hps, cool tube should help.

Took out SSH-SourD and turned off 600 watts Temp 79 and hoping for 78 before I go to bed...lol
Im counting on the water cooled DIY working out. Though in a 5' x 7' room
I would think I could just blow most heat right out the widow. If the water cooler is not enough for the 400W I will use it on the 150w instead. lol Where theres a will...

and dryed it and I have like 6 really nice looking( Brown with dark black lines ) seed's from it. 10 or so green seeds

Super Silver Haze Top Cut Smoke Review - 4-29-12

Well she only lasted a couple days in a jar.
I had to taste her so I took 2 bowls worth and... Wow...


The smell- is strong and fresh. When chopped in a grinder it smells of a super sweet berry fruit jam.


The taste- Amazing from the second it hit my mouth. Sweetness Yet a hint of earthy taste.
Just awesome for no jar time.

The effect- of this Super silver haze hits really fast and is especially strong mentally.

I just had to grind it up and enjoy her as is.

Very happy here...

shit your lucky man, this blueberry's draggin on, its back to full veg hours here but shes got some seeds that are developing. i already got 8 ripe ones off of her, turns out the male pollinated the preflowers. i saw more developing too, another week and i should be able to get even more seeds.
