Yet Another First Time Cfl Grower

125 watt cfl, tbh i was tryna get my hands on a 250 but this will do for now i think.. Yeah the little uns are almost 4 weeks alive and roughly 3 n a half weeks on 18/6, for a couple days while seedlings ran 24/0.

Pics and a couple questions to come :leaf:

Started on CFLs good way to learn. im subb'd ill c if I can help you in any way! G'luck To ya!

8th the one on the bottom despite nearly being decapitated, bounced back and is now doing the best, the shortest one at the top is a close second.

13th, moved them further away from the bulb for the last 2-3 days due to curved dry leaves and they have gotten worse over those days... Photo-0123.jpg ..fuck!:finger:Photo-0125.jpg

Added a bowl with some water to help with humidity as im guessing its too dry in there. Sorting out a fan and vent sys soon.. :dunce: i know i should have done that already but what can i say... i smoke too much ? :bigjoint:Photo-0129.jpg

And also i added a diluted dose of nutes about 3 days ago, AFTER the start of the crusty ass leaves

Any ideas or suggestions wud be welcome.

it would probably be a good idea to get a reading on the humidity and temps so you can know exactly what you are having issues with. For me personally I never used nutes in veg not even one time. And I have only used them twice in 33 days of flowering. The plants will let you know what they need but you just need to make sure you are providing them with the ideal environment. Not saying nutes are a bad thing at all but be very careful to not over nute them because it is much easier to come back from under nuting than from over nuting. Good luck i will stayed subed on this one and try to provide as much help as i can.

It looks from the leaves that your having a heat issue! you need to exhaust ASAP its the second most important step to growing besides ur light, The plants need fresh Co2 to live and thrive. If you leave them in a box with no vents the air will then become oxygen rich and useless to the plants add that and extra heat and theres your problem! hope this helps

Arggghh ! Photo-0125#1.jpg
I'm not letting anything bad happen to this one, if it hermies i'll shoot myself. Photo-0129#1.jpg

So it's been a while.. Photos are from a couple days ago, I ordered the fan a couple days back but the "express delivery" was.. well bullshit. Should have it by tomorrow.

After my last post I added more earth into the bottom of each pot to make use of the available root space, noticed i could see roots on sides and some at the bottom. Thought the pots were of a decent size and that the plants would get more out of them.. today i transferred one to a new bigger pot, thought i'd see if there's any noticeable difference.
---------Any opinion on the pot sizes??-------

Three babies joining our team. And as of today we're roughly four - four n a half weeks under the light, i was pretty sure they'd be looking bigger anda bit nastier by now but setbacks here n there probably affected this. :wall:

---------As usual any help or words of wisdom are more than welcome --------

Cheers man, i got a couple questions:
*Could my pots be bigger, obviously i don't want massive trees shooting up.. but i think the growths been stunted
*How big should a five week old be? Roughly
and thats about it for now.

It all depends.
What is the Strain you are growing. Is it an Auto?
They are very very small though if they are
Generaly I would say in my experience and testing. Puting the plant in the finale pot is the best way to go from the start. Thats just my opinion. Good luck man

Mainly Blue Cheese, maybe 1 or 2 Chocolope and i might have germinated a thai seed.. not too sure lol Yeh thanks benzfrd, have germinated the new babies in quite big pots. Got 2 new big pots the other day and 4 massive ones i'ma cut down to size a little. With this info, does anyone have a rough idea of how big these babys shud be by now ?? They're on the 7th, maybe the 8th, set of leaves...

Check the ph of the water you use too. I got a cheap drop test ph kit for $10, high ph of 8.3 water was stunting my plants. Used lemon juice to lower the water ph. When those plants flower you can lower light into middle of them and do a vertical, better use of light.

Yesum, been meaning to cop one for a while now mate, i'll post up the ph results next couple days. nice one bro

7 weeks veg and onto 12/12, pics a be up shortly

a months gone by.. i've since chopped one, two turned out to be males but ehh, one beautiful momma and a couple teens now.

Anyone got an opinion, and i'm sure everyone does, bout LSTing bout 20 days into flowering? I don't plan anything major, just intend to open up the canopy slightly. ???

You need to provide fresh air for the plant leaves as well as helps with temp and humidity. I would suggest even using a aquarium air pump position external to grow box and have tube run inside . This method only provides fresh air and does not noticable change the temp or humidity. Best of luck with your temp seems once you can control that you will see some nice plants!!

Saw pumps in a store and at first i thought that's what they were for, when i asked the guy and he told me they were to put oxygen in water i left the idea. Got a 6inch fan blowing air in at the moment but thats not been 24/7.. can definitely see areas i need to work on...

Being a stoner -and one always away from home at that- doesn't help when it comes to solving problems man! But the advice is appreciated,.. check out the thread soon for some pre-bud porn lol
