i like that they changed it so that it's no longer a giveaway to the thieves at OGF, but putting unlicensed cultivation in the same arena as hit and run? kinda shitty.

will hold my nose and vote for it. i'm more of a regulate marijuana like wine person.

I have a better idea

Make it illegal with hefty prison time to sell weed

But make it legal to possess

With the exception being Medical clinics can sell it and buy it

I'm sorry any idiot can grow weed
You dont even need a timer anymore

why should it be illegal to sell weed? Regardless of how you answer that, it still opens the door for police corruption. Do you think everyone convicted of selling weed was actually selling weed or should be in jail?

Cops wouldnt even bother with it. people too lazy to grow their own would just go to the clinic or get hooked up by a freind

Criminals wouldnt get involved becuase if everyone and their brother were growing weed
There wouldnt be any money in it

Ya think the Mexican Cartels would bother with shipping in tons of brick weed?

When i was a kid
We threw about 60 lbs of weed on a fire. There is a place down by my mom and dads house that has weed that grows almost 20 feet high

You couldnt catch a buzz off the shit if you smoked a pound
But in october it looks cool as shit

This year I will make the trek with my wife and kid just to take pictures if it is still there

And I will post them here
With a handwritten note of course

this thread is a perfect example of DEAsert dude's self righteous hypocrisy versus my tempered pragmatism.

i am willing to swallow a bitter pill in the name of progress. i am not letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. i don't like the thought of cultivating cannabis without a government issued license being equivalent to a hit and run, but we can work on that later.

DEAsert dude displays a different type of douchebaggery. it doesn't matter that obama holds the most friendly MMJ position of any viable candidate for POTUS ever, if it is not the whole enchilada, he will encourage critical swing state voters to throw away their vote on a non-viable candidate rather than reelect progress in the right direction.

this also reinforces what i have been telling DEAsert dude the whole time: our progress does not come from a figurehead thousands of miles away, it comes from voter initiatives and voter initiatives alone. stoners are too easy of a political target otherwise.

get fucked, DEAset dude. we are oregonians, not some weird type of onion. learn to spell.

I'm more of a regulate it like green tea person. Since both are about as dangerous and no one has been died because of green tea caused health issues.

Can the same be said for wine?

Regulation reminds me of the
Marijuana tax stamp
Anyone remember that law?
Actually I think it still might be law

The Supreme Court held the Act unconstitutional on self-incrimination grounds in

Don't be stupid, weed will be worthless, you said yourself the turth "any idiot can grow it"...any idiot will grow it..hell it will grow everywhere...Criminals won't grow it for profit....If weed was legal it would be worth pennies.

of course I know someone will respond to this something like "blah blah blah can't grow chronic or good conseior weed" - All I have to say to that is lmfao, that will be a niche market, most people don't fucking care as long as it gets them high, in fact most people can't even tell the difference.

marijuana should not be regulated, it cannot be "taxed", what a fucking joke who are you kidding? Medical Marijuana System is a fucking joke...Its set the weed free or nothing...that's why this hasn't happened before because that is their only option...free the weed or don't free the weed.

When you were a kid? Duke, you got thrown off here not long ago for being underage. Now, you're telling stories from the good 'ol days when you were a kid? Some things never change. Still telling whoppers. I remember how you were married to a black woman when the topic was race. Keep peddling your bullshit, there actually are people on here stupid enough to believe it.

Almost, you need to put down the crack pipe. I was being congratulatory to you and your fellow Oregonions.

As far as pimping for Mr. Obama, you need to just spit out that load, it's not good for you.

*oregonians. we are not some type of onion.

as far as pimping for obama goes, my ma-in-law is going to be in the new york times and has already been in the financial times thanks to the work she has done to help get our best hope at progress reelected.

now go off and crawl into a corner, assume the fetal position, and murmur "rawn pawl" while sucking your thumb, hypocrite.
