I want an Impreza wrx.
There's a million lil STi's running around out here, some wagons by now, some pretty quick. My favorite is the local parts counter guy's older Forester, lowered, totally tricked out with speed and handling parts but has a black primer body. It sounds a lil old n raspy, like a muffler is missing, but it didn't get louder as it barked all four corners on the upshift. Hard. Ten second quarter...

Edit: no nitrous, it was his daily driver. As far as I know, he drove it to work today.

I have a video of me racing a silver trans am in florida...he ran a 12.9 to my 13.6 in my impala. ...he was pretty impressed

I fucked up though...I did a nasty burnout on street tires...street tires get slicker....I ended up with a 2.3 60' lol......I was reeling him in on on the back end

I had one of those.
Beer bottle brown.
Loved it. I remember the speedo read 160. I was impressed by that lol

Cant remember which was first but it was either a datsun 510
or a 67 impala.

I foolishly got mine up to 118-120, once. I was running dual Holleys and burning a shit-ton of gas (I AVERAGED 8 mph). The scary part was the front-end started lifting, pulling my front tires off the road. Turned into a kinda high-speed wobble, dance left dance right dance left dance right. I added tractor weights to the front-end after that.

1962 Dodge van, holier than thou rusty, engine in a doghouse between the front seats. Yeah, safety, Fuck that! Motor lasted a couple thousand miles. Motor mounts, half that.
My Dad had a 74 dodge van.
I would take that engine cover off and drive around.
As a kid that was just cool to look down at a 318 doing it's job.
That van did hellish burnouts.
