I believe the below redmarks to be doobnVA, correct me if I am wrong though. Normal text is me.
It's hilarious that the interviewer is going around asking questions that he doesn't know the answer to.
And asking one guy to tell him about the bills that are being proposed right now. That's the thing, NO ONE knows.
No one knows? Despite the fact that each proposed bill is posted on the internet - which a great many Americans have constant access to? The people who are in charge of drafting the bill don't know, either? I find that hard to believe.
You'd get the exact same idiotic response from the average liberal idiot except it would be "Uhhh so the poor can have coverage"
"The average liberal idiot". "Idiot" being the key word. Idiots come in both liberal AND conservative varieties.
Have you read the bill? No average American has, or very seldom at most. And of the few who did, I highly doubt they understood 10% of it.
"The" bill? There is more than one bill that's been proposed. Have I read them? For the most part, yes. Did I understand more than 10%? Yes.

you don't know shit about this ^^ neither do I.
You're assuming that I haven't read it, which I have. What's your excuse? You obviously have the link.
Hey did you read it? Now you know why it must suck being in politics. So politicians do half ass work (less, even) and take the sleezy route.
Again, yes, I have read over each health care bill that has been proposed in both the House and the Senate. Quite unlike the protesters who are against health reform for no reason other than lack of understanding.
That's the whole point, you see. People protesting a government action that they don't even fully (and in most cases it would seem, partially) understand.
They're scared because Obama has a foreign sounding name, which must make him a muslim.
They're scared because there are "czars" in the White House, even though they've been there for decades and are only advisors with no real power, because they hear the word "czar" and immediately think of Russia.
They're scared because they haven't read ANY of the proposed legislation - and even if they DID read it - they still wouldn't realize that their hysteria is unfounded.
Why? Because they are IDIOTS.
You just proved my point. The average American doesn't want to read the bills. Why? First of all you'd have to have incredible patience just to be able to comprehend every bit of formal legislation you'd read. Patience with politics? Are you kidding?
You may be an intelligent and well informed American, but really that serves no purpose except to feed your own curiosity to understand the legislation. You have no more power than I because you've read the legislation and claim to understand it.
Why waste all their time on something they don't control? They've got more important things to do like supporting their families.
Edit: Did you really pull out the foreign name card on this one? That doesn't bother me one bit. Hell he could be a radical conservative but if his policies were the same quality I still wouldn't support him. Neither would libs. Stop defending your pick just because you were deceived during the presidential campaign. I believed the BS too. It's okay to admit mistakes...or at least start with looking into the possibility that you might've been wrong.
