You've got to admit this is funny.

:mrgreen: This, my friends, is the result of the mainstream media on the fragile, high fructose corn syrup saturated, already feeble minds of Americans.

Remember kids, these same "news entities" you rely on for your daily dose of up-to-the-minute goings on in the political world are the very same ones who bring you lie after bold-faced lie about the dangers of cannabis. :joint:

It is kinda of ha ha funny, but it's scary to think that these people have the right to vote and even worse, procreate!

Hey we all know 90% of the population is stuck on Dumb. Left, right, center included. And it is easy to make everyone sound dumber by editing out all of the good answers.

It's hilarious that the interviewer is going around asking questions that he doesn't know the answer to.

And asking one guy to tell him about the bills that are being proposed right now. That's the thing, NO ONE knows.

You'd get the exact same idiotic response from the average liberal idiot except it would be "Uhhh so the poor can have coverage"

Have you read the bill? No average American has, or very seldom at most. And of the few who did, I highly doubt they understood 10% of it.

docs.house.gov/edlabor/AAHCA-BillText-071409.pdf

you don't know shit about this ^^ neither do I.

Hey did you read it? Now you know why it must suck being in politics. So politicians do half ass work (less, even) and take the sleezy route.

Exactly. Besides, even if you were intellectual, being intellectual and being able to think and respond in real time are completely different things.

Intellect is a resource, but being able to think and respond in real time is a developed social skill.

Applying this skill to a question that requires facts and only facts to sound credible, is much more difficult.

On top of that, politics is a dry subject for most, hence why the average American doesn't read HR 3200. Hence the stupid answers at the Tea Party. The average American doesn't have time to waste obsessing over politics which is ultimately not in our control. We elect politicians, we don't create legislation. To get too wrapped up in this mess would be a form of suffering.

Anyways, the average American listens to the news and form value based opinions on that news.

Fortunately there is one network that does cover important news.

Is Beck big on speculation? Yes, but he has so much evidence supporting his speculation that it gives the viewers the opportunity to make up their own minds, not just be spoon fed the good information and not the bad.

By evidence I don't mean Beck rambling or making graphs on his blackboard, (remember those are the conspiracies that develop out of the current news) I mean the videos, sound bites, documents, etc. he provides to support speculation.

He could be wrong. But guess what, he doesn't care. He just wants to find out if he's wrong or right. Sooner rather than later. Right now he doesn't know. Which mean the American people certainly don't know. What, you think they are going to get the real news by watching the president answer questions about the White Sox on leftist media channels?

Leftmedia asks the questions Obama wants to be asked.

Fox asks the questions that need to be asked.

Only difference? Obama doesn't want to answer the questions American's need the answers to. He answers the questions that make him look like he is doing good.

Obama's response to the interviewer on ABC about ACORN was despicable.

He didn't know they were receiving federal money? BULLSHIT. Absolute bullshit.

How long has Obama worked with ACORN (in various forms)? Oh, about the last fifteen years. Yeah, but he doesn't know anything about them.

No one knows? Despite the fact that each proposed bill is posted on the internet - which a great many Americans have constant access to? The people who are in charge of drafting the bill don't know, either? I find that hard to believe.

You'd get the exact same idiotic response from the average liberal idiot except it would be "Uhhh so the poor can have coverage"

"The average liberal idiot". "Idiot" being the key word. Idiots come in both liberal AND conservative varieties.

Have you read the bill? No average American has, or very seldom at most. And of the few who did, I highly doubt they understood 10% of it.

"The" bill? There is more than one bill that's been proposed. Have I read them? For the most part, yes. Did I understand more than 10%? Yes.

Again, yes, I have read over each health care bill that has been proposed in both the House and the Senate. Quite unlike the protesters who are against health reform for no reason other than lack of understanding.

That's the whole point, you see. People protesting a government action that they don't even fully (and in most cases it would seem, partially) understand.

They're scared because Obama has a foreign sounding name, which must make him a muslim.

They're scared because there are "czars" in the White House, even though they've been there for decades and are only advisors with no real power, because they hear the word "czar" and immediately think of Russia.

They're scared because they haven't read ANY of the proposed legislation - and even if they DID read it - they still wouldn't realize that their hysteria is unfounded.

Why? Because they are IDIOTS.

Of course they will! They'll also insist, if reform is successful, that they actually backed it the whole time - they never protested against reform, it was all the other stuff that's (not) going on they were protesting against!
