And likewise, I'm just not the idealist you are.I am not looking to show you the way or dis on your opinions but I see this as a philosophical struggle as well as scientific.

Then there is no problem.I understand adaptation, the rest is not relevant to the problem as I see it.
I'm sorry, but that is not for you to decide. Then there is no problem.
-Homo Erectus?Well, you can dream while we adapt. What? Me worry?
Don't mind if I do.Keep dreaming.
-Homo Erectus?
and i want to thank you for demonstrating all 720 of those degrees.720 degrees...You can go around twice before you get back to the beginning...
It is not time to move on. This is the beginning of Big Fuel, Chapter 2. Methane. The fear is not limited to that. Pollution of the air, support of the business, and better technologies all are rational. I don't drive and my allegiance and support of oil is non-existent. It is not a maturity, just time to move on.
Well said. The entire MMGW movement is based on the predication that we don't want the earth to warm. So far, I've seen NOTHING presented that could occur in the next 50-100 years that would convince me to suffer ANY of the financial and lifestyle altering "fixes." And I'm talking about even the most dire and heinous effects that are duplicitously offered by the most zealous of the Eco-loons.Probably not.
I grow tired of my liberal alarmist friends who are certain that global warming will either destroy the planet (it won't), or scrub the earth of mankind (it won't), all global warming will do is change the way things work for mankind on earth. If you don't want that sort of thing to happen, then do as you must to correct it. If you are willing to spend what it takes to safeguard civilization from the worst of the results of global warming (change agricultural areas, erect sea walls, conserve fresh water and the like) then get to getting. it isn't getting any colder any time soon.
Put it this way - global warming is going to cost folks a lot of the most valuable real estate on the planet - if you are wlling to give up Manhattan island, then keep burnining that coal.
I am not looking to show you the way or dis on your opinions but I see this as a philosophical struggle as well as scientific.
well, you couldn't read simple scientific polling and come within 15 points of the correct outcome, but hey, climate science is probably more of your thing, right?I don't buy into the MMGW assertions in any way that man is responsible.
Amazing how the numbers have gone from 7 to 10 and now you've managed to bring a 15 into it.well, you couldn't read simple scientific polling and come within 15 points of the correct outcome, but hey, climate science is probably more of your thing, right?
you are a joke.
i'm still waiting for you to cite the first goddamn thing you say on the issue, but since everything you say is horse shit pulled directly from that empty fucking head of yours, that will never happen.
your idea of letting major cities drown is about as popular as your other idea of getting rid of social security and medicare and about as brilliant as that 10 point romney lead you were sleeping on (hint, obama won by 4. so it was 14, not 15. my bad.I know you skipped right over the main point of my post because YOU GOT NOTHING to counter it, but I think I'll stay focused on it.
Did you tell your father in-law that you made it to the 50,000 post mark yetyour idea of letting major cities drown is about as popular as your other idea of getting rid of social security and medicare and about as brilliant as that 10 point romney lead you were sleeping on (hint, obama won by 4. so it was 14, not 15. my bad.
