Southern New Hampshire Outdoor Strains

I'm looking for the Ultimate outdoor strain for Southern New Hampshire. I've had good results from Northern Lights (23 year old clone strain, old school!), Mendo Purps, Sweet God, Sweet tooth. These all did great when I had them in the back yard and gave them constant love, but now I must venture into the guerilla garden methods and I seek the Ultimate High Yielding, High potency strain. In other words I want it all!

I like what I've read about Purple Widow by De Sjmaan but I'm worried about the finish time. I've never had a crop go past October 12th due to frost warnings and have always harvested a little early so I wouldn't loose any Trichomes to frost. Some of the details about this strain say harvest Late Sept/ Early October which would be awesome but others say that strange things like

"Long harvest from July to end Oct" or "Purple Widow plants grown from De Sjamaan cannabis seeds are known for their quick harvest which starts already in October, giving away big sturdy buds, shiny and sticky with aromatic juice. They perform better outside, where they can grow as high as 3.5 m with incredible 850 gr per every plant. In tough climate zones, this cannabis remains short (75 cm) with, yet, great 400 gr of excellent marijuana per m2."

I don't understand what these quotes mean.

Has anyone grown Purple Widow outdoors and if so when was it finished.

I need to find the perfect Strain for a guerrilla grow and this strain fits what I'm looking for with huge harvest if it will finish before frost. I need to hit the ball out of the park this season.

Anyone in the north have the ultimate high potency, high yielding, low maintenance, hardy strain that will finish by Mid October?

Other strains I'm considering are THC Bomb, The Church, The Doctor, Belladonna, Bubble Bomb, Great White Shark, KC 36, Purple Power.

What do you Canadians grow for outdoor strains?

in the quote it says "long harvest from july to end oct" myself I would take it as meaning they could run till end oct for some of them. and "starts already in oct." meaning beginning oct to be the first done.

if you've decent weather till oct 15th or even say the 7th of oct you have still a good selection of seeds to chose from. read up on what others have done in similar conditions to get some good ideas.
I will say that the outdoor times given by some dutch companies can be off in favor of needing more time. I have had much distress from dutch passion and greenhouse outdoor harvest times being 2-3 week off.
in general I have had better success with Canadian companies for early outdoor regular season plants. especially plants bred more for outdoor and mold resistance which helps considerably in the north east.

How was the yield? Can you give a estimate of how much per plant? I've always created multiple tops and created big shrubs, I've never just let a plant grow, I couldn't do it. I've always been an old school "pinch and bend" guy and have plants with between 16 and 32 colas each. I've always got 4 to 8 times the amount of my "unteachable", "know-it-all" friends who just let them grow naturally.

I'm seriosly considering THC Bomb now that I know it works in Maine, that was on my short list. Any advice would be more than welcome.

Thanks for the tip about Dutch genetics, Canada sounds good. I got my Purps from BC Bud Depot who screwed up my order and sent a mix o f Sweet God, Sweet Tooth, The Purps, and a few really funky strains. It worked out ok but I can't have any unknown factors this time around.

Brains Choice has a review that say it is for a more experienced grower. I'm experienced but that always scares me and makes me think something could go wrong. I like bullet proof strains. Northern lights is awesome but doesn't produce big yields. Purps and Northern are about the same as far as how they grow.

What can you tell me about Brains Choice? Any problems? How much bud per plant can be expected? I'm an old school "Pinch and Bend" grower so I end up with multiple colas on bushy plants. Any advice is welcome

Not sure exacly how much from each plant, but it was a good amount. The pictures in the link i posted were plants that I supercropped, and ended up being about 8-10ft.

This is Old School Northern Lights. I'm a fanatic when it comes to pinching and bending to create shrubs with multiple colas. These were clones that I got in June but just because I got them late didn't bother me much. Its all about the technique of pinching and bending.

If there's one thing I love to teach its how to pinch and bend and create short fat shrubs. I'm Old School but I remain teachable and I'm always trying to learn better ways of doing things. I love to conduct experiments and record the results for future reference. I discovered how to create all female seeds when a jealous family member sabotaged my indoor crop by having the timer turn the lights on for an hour in the middle of the dark cycle. All of a sudden all my budding Northern Lights and Purps plants started to become hermaphrodites and pollinated themselves ruining the crop as far as I was concerned but the unexpected result was that all the seeds were females. The next year I grew a couple hundred extra plants for the sole purpose of creating mountains of Hash.

Seed companies need to learn how to create the female seeds without using chemicals. None of the seeds became hermaphrodites because it was caused by their environment and not by genetic predisposition.

A "Smart" person learns from their mistakes, a "Wise" person learns from other peoples mistakes. Be wise and learn from others and avoid needless heartache! I learned not to go on vacation and not to allow others into my growroom.

New Hampshire's House of Representatives just vote to make 1 ounce legal for recreational use and to tax it just like Colorado. Don't start celebrating yet. It now will be voted on by the Ways and Means committee and if it passes it will then go to the senate which is predicted to vote NO!

If it does pass the Ways and Means vote and the Senate Vote the Governor Maggie Hassan has declared she will veto it!

People of New Hampshire need to protest Maggie Hassan to do the will of the people who are sick and tired of the idiotic war on Marijuana which does nothing more than make good people criminals. Until people ban together and fight the establishment will keep doing things their way.
Legalize it without all the stupid restrictions and let me do my thing and take 25% of my money. They need to just allow the industry to be self regulating as it has been for all these years. Don't tell me how to grow it or how much I can grow, just let me grow as much as I want and I'll happily give 25% for taxes. Try to regulate the crap out of it and take away the profit and I'll just stay a criminal and sell it for less than the legal taxed bud. Support your local grower!

I would move to Colarado if I thought I could grow enough to support my family but there's no way they would let an average person get a licence and allow them to grow without some crazy limits making it impossible. Why can't they just make it legal and let people do whatever they want as long as they get the tax money. Its a self regulating industry and it has always been that way. If you have a crappy product people will not buy from you. Instead of the price coming down in Colarado, its going up. Somebody should be selling High end bud for $40-45 an 8th and teach them a lesson about over regulating and over pricing. They will claim that they are going to run out of weed to justify the high price.

brains choice is a nice and branchy plant that did well with no mold issues very easy to grow and yeilded well over a pound here by late sept . great for cloning i have some crosses with it and grown it here, fl. and in ca. with good results . green poison also is a nice strain to work with

I haven't smoked in 3 years, not by choice, by being drug tested but I"m finally free and clear to do whatever I want whenever I want to do it. Its moronic at what we have to go through to just enjoy a natural plant that doesn't harm anybody but help millions. Think of the people on Prozac, or some other chemical compounds that the drug companies are pumping out to people. I've been one miserable human being for the last 3 years. Count your blessings all of you people who can smoke and enjoy because their are millions who can't for one reason or another.

It amazes me that after all these years people still are hung up on allowing people to use weed. Booze is just fine, its okay to be a drunk, but not okay to be a peaceful toker. The powers that be would rather make us into criminals and keep us under the radar and under the fear of prosecution, than to allow us to be simple free people who have made the decision to use a natural plant rather than man made chemical concoctions.

I can't wait to toke up again but I'm in financial ruin and can barely afford food right now. I'm not a young man and have no friends in the area. All I have is the hope of a future day when I can get out of this nightmare I've been stuck in for the last 3 years. Things were extremely hopeless for a while with impending doom on the horizon but everything took a major 180 degree turn of the better. I can finally have a positive outlook.

The powers that be can now "Kiss My Ass!" after destroying my old life. I just realized I was starting to rant... Guess I needed to vent of some repressed rage. That's what weed is for, rage represent. I'm looking into those new auto strains to hold me over so I can finally smoke. I've waited for 3 years and now that I can its killing me that I haven't got any. I don't even have a old bong to scrape. So why in the world would I spend time on a weed site when I have no weed? HOPE!

I wasn't able to hope for anything for a long time. Hope of the future changes everything. I have gone from one end of the spectrum to the other. There was a time that I had so much weed and hash it was ridicules. It seems like another lifetime ago. That's why this up coming season is so important to me.
