yeah well i guess that's why most people don't re-use their soil!! it gets pretty hard to re-amend the proper ratios after several runs. I am not giving up though!! I think it will be easier when I incorporate more ROLS to my grow, I have a massive pile of food and garden waste composting but it will be many more months before I get something out of it. For now I ll just run em out ... the cal-mag seems to have help and I will keep in mind the ewc tea I think I have some storebought worm castings outside somewhere. This strain is really fast I am only 4 weeks from harvesting her me thinking.
note, I took a few cuttings of SpaceGrin, 10 days from now I should be safe to place the mother SpaceGrin into budding, she's gonna be the biggest yet! not that big but 10 days from now + the initial stretch and she's gonna be a nice bush.
thats it for now. thanks psuagro for your inputs... these are all things I should know by now but you get lazy growing in supersoil everything is so easy!

I recently pulled most of my Revolution X Respect out of the grow room except one. Which I still might take out we'll see. I think I have to scratch all the seeds I made with my male revolution because I think it has ruderalis in the genetic... BUMMER. also my pennywise is not shooting any pollen all the pods are dying before they open ... maybe not enough light I am not sure.
It looks really empty in room2, I am a bit behind and also I pulled a few plants I didnt want to grow. I think I have 7 12/12 from seed containers, only 2 weeks from now and this will almost look like a jungle.
I am starting to think I should use room1 to veg my plants, I hate seeing the budroom so empty.

The tent: (3-4 moms in here, not sure about senora ampero yet but she will be cloned again and given another chance, The Respect and SpaceChemo are almost ready for me to take cuttings and the SpaceGrin just need a few days to bounce back from the cuttings and she will go into room2

I have a God's Lemon Skunk in room1, just in 1 gallon being sexed, now that the pennywise male might not produce any pollen I am kind of hoping the God Lemon Skunk turns out male.
You guys won't get to see that but I helped a friend getting a little closet size grow going and we started 100 seeds of my SpacePussy F2s. 100seeds came up! like 99% germination rate so I was pretty stoked. Anyway it's a 12/12 from seed Sea of Green grow, 7 plants per 10 gals until they show sex. We didnt plant all 100 seedlings but I ll have like 80 plants to chose from for my F3s so I am pretty stoked. I hope to find the female pheno that smells like pussy. I plan on trying to reveg the best female of this batch too and maybe use her for back crossing down the road.

I am chopping a Respect today, again another plant that wasnt veg long enough after transplant. The buds on this girl are so dense though so she should be well over an ounce. She looks as frosty as the usual, this plant is usually very very oily and sticky to trim. I have 1 or 2 Respect that went into budding recently that will also be small but the babe in the tent will be very big when I move her to a budding room.
I decided I would give another chance to some of my revolution crosses because I wanted to fill up the room. So in a 10 gallons container I transplanted 4 (Revolution X (SpaceBombXNYCD)) ... they are still pretty small so I ll call em 12/12 from seed. I also transplanted 6 SpacePussy in 1 7 gallons container... experimenting with 12/12 from seed sea of green.
I moved the SpaceGrin a little earlier than expected in an attempt to fill the room with BUDS ASAP. She was easy to clone in the past so I figure out of 4 cuttings I should be able to keep one alive lol. Fingers crossed!!
You can see left of the SpaceGrin is my Senora Ampero, She is all droopy this morning last night she looked really nice. Still plenty of moisture in the container and I didnt water last night... so kind of strange. I think she is a little finicky... She will do better in a bigger pot the one in the tent is in a 10 gallon. Anyway you can see her better in the group shot below... what do you guys think, is it normal for an indica plant look like this!?
Room2, I am running at full capacity right now, humidity will spike to 55% at lights off with this many containers in there. But I figured the SpaceGrin will come down pretty soon, then 30 days from now when all the 12/12 from seed have gotten big, I ll be chopping the big SpaceChemo (which seems very good mold resistant strain) and basically I won't add any containers in this room until I harvest the PennyWise. (2 months)

I like the idea of 'peeling back the skin' and getting to the origins of strains. Cant speak for 'world of seeds'...have read pretty good things. (which doesnt really count for much i know)
Im currently looking into some landrace Sativas, namely from 'holy smoke' and 'seeds of africa' for my genetics.
Flowers look spanking sweet in your rooms.

Yeah I was also one of those growers that NEVER reused soil. But that comes from my Chem ferts background and bad habits===soil becomes acidic and full of salts. ROLS is an absolutely great system when done correctly(thanks to hyroot/rrog/coots/gas/etc.), my only amendment is roots organic uprising foundation(lazy way) between runs and let it sit outside for a couple of weeks:
<< pretty diverse ingredients list including cal/mag/iron.....BUT expensive for your scale(1/2 cup per gal) and can probably source all of it at way better prices. A great option for your needs would be looking at the coots mix by BAShttp://buildasoil.com/products/the-clackamas-kit $120 makes a YARD(189 gallons!!) of LOS soil.........very good products over there, I'm getting the small lava rocks for semi-permanent aeration in my soil.

I was also drawn to Sativas landrace for breeding but I am also wanting to create fast flowering strains... I figured I already have SpaceGrin that is pretty close to landrace for Sativas, something to be said about growing ''natural'' varieties... as landrace become rarer they are going to cost more money to buy... so I wanna create my own supply as well as breeding with them. The first strain on the menu is going to be Hindu Kush X SpaceGrin!!
Anyway just talking for now it wont be for a while I think I might grow a couple seeds for now and wait after the Summer to hunt for my Stud, Yes thats the main thing I ll be looking for when growing them seeds out, I wanna find a male that I can keep around for more serious breeding project. This winter i will focus on making F3s of SpacePussy and also chuck pennywise pollen.
I put the pennywise male under an old UFO it finally looks like it will give me pollen ... with in a few days I am guessing. I am not going to use on too many strain simply make PennyWise F2s and use it on Senora Ampero. If I succeed I suspect that I will find real gems in this cross since Senora Ampero is (Juanita Lagrimosa X Jack the Ripper) and Pennywise is (Harlequin X Jack the Ripper)

I cant really attach the pictures the way I normally do it something is wrong with RIU this morning. Anyway the pics below are pics from my Respect, I have let that one dry before trimming coze I didnt have time, shes gonna a pain to trim I trimmed a bud to show you what she is gonna look like ... still pretty wet though.
I saw a nanner and used it on my SpaceChemo a few days ago, the hairs have receded now I am just waiting if to see if I ll get a few fem seeds from that. Those beans would be wicked my 2 frostiest keepers bred together

yeah but also i couldnt push the upload button that attach the pictures to your post this morning... no biggy. yeah one picture at a time sucks too I thought it was my computer but I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled windows yesterday so anyway I am glad to hear I am not the only one experiencing problems.
I ll take some cuttings today, Respect and SpaceChemo. My SpaceChemo is looking so beautiful and she really started to grow vigorously. I ll take 6 cuttings from SpaceChemo and 4 from Respect. I am only hoping for 1 healthy clone of each so that I can move them to the budding room 2 weeks from now.

I am really looking forward to Lao Sativa check it out guys its apparently similar to thai stick but apparently has not been contaminated as much with other genetics, more isolated. I ordered Eldorado because I have grown it before and it might have been mis labeled at the time but anyway one of the strain I grew the same round as I did Eldorado was phenomenal and I always thought it was either Eldorado or Red Dragon .
actually look at what I found:
Eldorado; Red Dragon; Berry Bomb; Lemon Skunk; Super Lemon Haze; White Castle; Blackberry ... I fucked up when germinating so I don't know which one is which, ... so that will be a fun game in about 2 months to figure that out.

the biggest Chemdog is showing some weird growth, the worst set of growth was might have been caused by being under a big fan leaf and then sweating ... or I got too much hot soil in that container, because the rest looks really good. The rest of that Chemdog is looking really good just those 2 sets of branches so I am not going to worry.

This one is the pick of the bunch for me.
Pretty hard to upload pics right now holy crap! Hey Cronikool this is my least favorite !! sorry! probably be a while before I grow that one! The Lao Sativa is my favorite landrace out of this selection. I found a journal on some other website through google and the guy finally gave up the grow because they hermied on him but the shots he took were awesome beautiful plant!! So I ll risk it anyway and make some seeds while I am at it.
Room2 I moved things around a bit. Things are starting to grow. I am experimenting a bit as you know I planted 2 seeds with the SpaceChemo that is finishing (well only 1 bud left lol ...) I am actually waiting to see pollen from her that I can use again a bit risky and I might change my mind but the seedlings are so small still.
Another experiment here I was gonna kill this plant and I couldnt do it. BlueSage X Dr.Grinspoon. So I placed her in with the SpaceChemo( I didnt even dig I didnt want to disturb SpaceChemo ) Watch my rooms are going to be hermi fest 2 months from now I hope I dont regret anything lol. But man BlueSage X Dr.Grinspoon, really!!?? that is going to be some wicked flowers, How can I resist not trying to grow them seeds out!!.

Cheese#1, Last run for this girl... very vigorous and I can expect a big yield from her. Very beautiful aroma, super strong but unfortunately I find it has no bag appeal and I love my weed beautiful after curing and drying.
Respect, the next cutting to go in will be massive but for now I have this small girl. I love this strain its very awesome super resinous great pungent unique smell. As you can see her I used the velcro ties to spread her out a bit, thats a simple way to increase yield for those of you who dont know!

12 12 from seed, 2 spacepussy F2s ... again trying different things out here I topped one of the 2 seedlings and it became a huge runt!! note to myself, do not top seedlings...

A bit of a smoke report I am toking on those little popcorn nugs from my Respect plant that I didnt endup trimming its now jared un-trimmed. The smell coming off the jar is VERY pungent, dont ask me what it smells like I couldnt describe, but very pleasant not offensive one bit. The sugar content on this plant is off the hook and thats why I am keeping her around, this plant didnt yield because she didnt have enough root when placed in the budding room but I am vegging a much bigger one now and this plant has the potential to yield big as you guys have seen months ago. (I found a few pics of the original plant from seed, see below, she was awesome and very happy I cloned her before budding her)
Anyway, The smoke in the joint is quite good, very smooth for how resinous she is. By the way the buds are very oily this plant has so much terpenes its unreal. In the pipe is taste like smoke resin, not much taste to it ... right now anyway (I was baked prior ooops) I highly recommend trying this strain out. RESPECT (Reggae Seeds company)

Peak in the veg cab, I have a bit of room for a couple Crisco that are about to show sex, 2 out of 4 have shown so far,1 male 1 female. I am hoping for 2 more females!! Those 4 seeds were the only seeds I got from crossing my male Chemo on my female Respect. I am convinced one them female will become a keeper in the garden. If you guys knew the smell of each strain you would understand, I think they will go very well together not to mention both are the most resinous strains I have grown.
I am still waiting on this BlueSage to reveg, ... there is still some green on her so I am not giving up!! not sure how long she has been in there for now...

I Still have over a month to go with her and she is all yellow. I have tried different things (except what i should have done in the first place, worm poo tea) I tried cal mag, molasses and most recently liquid kelp and maybe something was off in the container. Mind you it really simply looks like she was depleted of nitrogen. My plan for now is to give her straight water until the end and the yield will suffer tremendously but the quality should be very awesome.

The moment I have been waiting for! A little tap on those pods could be devastating near the garden!! Luckily he is upstairs. I will use him not as much as I had originally planned, I ll wait to get a good male from a pure Indica Landrace. In the meantime I will also grow out a male Crisco (Chemo X Respect) and make F2s with them. I have 3 females out of 4 seeds with my Crisco. I cant wait to grow this cross out!!
