I finally got a proper introduction to the machine shop guys at dinner tonight.The harley guy is going to walk me through the rebuild of my sporty.He is an old pro.I 've had the project shelved until I found the right place to take it.Sounds like I'm hooked up now.You all will know in a few months if I post some smokey burn out pics

Didn't see this thread. Just derestricted my 2 stroke Eton Beamer and am getting ready to do a big bore. 70cc ought to get her over 75 mph. I ride all year, but keep it slow even on dry cold days. Can't wait for Spring.

just put my cr500 on craigs lists for 3000, really dont want to get rid of it but i got to, there ant no where to ride where i live and the neighbors love to call the cops when they here that 2 stroke

that sucks.You will have to pry my CR5 from my cold dead hands.
This spring I'm going to reshape a few jumps that I built a couple years back.Time for some big air!

I've been hurt by my first 5hundo many of times.The first time I missed a double,I landed on my boot/ass.I couldn't sit down for 5 months
I've barely ridsden the last 2 years b/c of a neck injury.I think I can wear a helmet now

i know right there fucking nasty fast, get up and go, if i would of had a neck brace i would have been good but they cost like 400 doll hairs, i fucking went like 20 feet in the air and landed front wheel to much and got throwed over the handle bars stright into the ground head first shit hurt for like 2 weeks

not so fast,,,,I've been busy.The old lady is back and is having a fit about the motor in the kitchen and the cr in the bedroom.I made a motor stand today.Will be taking the top end off tomorrow or so

I usually shift up a gear and gas gas it.That way it hooks up a little better and doesn't just spin.Lots of smaller bikes you gotta click it down a gear to get some.My 500 runs like a 4 stroke kinda sometimes.Lots of power in a lower rpm range

My old 1/8 liter I would just slip the clutch and she'd light up.....had to change clutch plates a lot on those.....1/4 liter was a little more torquey....that's my fascination with the 1/2 liter....the torque....2 stroke torque, sounds oxymoronic having ridden tiddlers but there it is.

I have a Suzi GT550 triple.....no torque lol, but its way heavier than the CR I imagine.

my bike is like 265 pounds or close to that, and yeah i can wheelie in 3rd gear with just a twists of the wrists got a guy comeing next week said he wants it bad i told him 3000 and he said no problem to hold it for him, makes me want to not let it go but i got to i can always get another one, i put racetech goldvalves in it and new front and rear springs, new tires and rebuit the back shock, im going to miss it, it really is a beast
