The point was simple: congress has every right to shut the government down, regardless of which party is in power. It doesn't matter who caused it, it doesn't matter how much they talked about it, because it is their right. I don't care who's talking about or who does it, past, present, future, it is their right. You might not like it, you might despise it, but that does not alter the incontrovertible fact that it is their right.

The opposite of government is freedom. Respecting other people's right to be free is a big part of the non-initiation of aggression principle.

People should be free to practice any religion they like as long as that practice doesn't infringe on others. Carrying that a bit further, people should be free period as long as they respect others right to the same. For instance you should be free to belong to any organization, but your organization, nor any individual people in it should not be free to automatically consume others.
