I have a very serious decision and difficult also.. heres the story.
I have a grow going just maybe 3 to 4 weeks left to harvest at most.. ( hopefully), but heres the deal, my son is autistic and bipolar and his attitude has been getting outa control.
his dr. and therispist has sprung ohhh we will have to put him in intensive services. well in sort that means a social worker will be comming out to the house to check up on him on a weekly basis.
id like to keep my grow going because that's my medication for my own problems..
so now that you know the back story.. here the deal as of now all i have is a diy carbon scrubber. in a 11 x 8 x 7 grow room with a 600 hps light. im also useing onea gel and the automatic spray system. now, to me and my wife it doesn't smell like weed but kinda a mix between the ona and weed... kinda? so heres the question?? if i put in a real carbon scrubber like a can or a phreash or preferably something cheaper. will it completely take any and all smell away. im talking like would you trust a cop above your grow room down stairs???
im planning on using some panda film to make the room a little smaller so i can use part as a veg room. and one part as a bloom room. but i cant risk getting caught..
the nice thing is they have to announce 24 hrs before the come..
but this is a very serious deal here. i need real opinions.. i also need to gget some help on how to set this up on a budget of 225.00 its all i could get.. i dont wanna get rid of my grow but i will if i have to... thanks in advance for the help

My room has negative pressure and a store bought filter.
The only telltale sign is the sound of the fan.

Even with trimming and hanging a couple lbs
the smell is gone until you enter the room.

If my kid were on the line I would stop growing.
Not any kind of moral judgment just I would be afraid of Murphy's law.

Cops were in my house for what its worth.
Thats a whole other story.
They diddnt smell it.

If you blow smoke at the main door
the smoke is pulled in.
Negative pressure.

Thats what im trying to decide on, on weather or not to grow, more.. just sucks because i cant get the right meds for me unless i grow it, so i and not trying to sound petty. but i have to suffer while this whole process is going on. and also to the point that it could be 6 months maybe less maybe more for him to get a counsler for this. because there over whelmed and dont have enough people.. but an how this is why i ask. im a month out atleast right now and im not giveing this grow up for nothing... cause i can hole the shit off for that long. with shedualing problems. but if i was to put the money into making the room like 3 foot shorter and useing a over rated carbon filter and properly vented room, if i started a grow and they show would i be safe, or would i have to worrie about them smelling it, so far theres only one person that has said that they smelt it. but this person knows about the grow. and is a old head him self. he is the only person that has said anything and weve come out and asked a couple people that we trust. and theve said no... so thats making me think dude is super sensitive to the smell and also that he knows about the grow is just mentaly smelling it. honestly i only smell it for a second before the ona takes over.. so im soo streasing... on what to do...

well see thats a kicker too, and no i dont take it as you being a dick. i take my meds for pain because i broke my back and i cant take nercotics for it anymore, and i react really bad to my bipolar meds. so in order to deal with him, and not be in a shit load of pain.. i kinda need my meds. also.. this is really one of the hardest decisions ive had to make. in a long time. the wife and i are hoping that this new med will work so we can tell the counslers that hes stable. so all this is kinda a little advanced in the need, but i have had some good luck with business latly and can afford to make the upgrade. and trying to make up m mind before i have to in a hurry.. bro no offense taken. just hard to put ur self in alot of unbearible pain. and going threw cycles your self while trying to be stable for your kid. and i know morely what i should do, and thats to stop growing untill a later time. but its hard to put ur self in this situation again... but i gotta be at least 85% that the scrubbers will take the smell away, i already have my wife hooked on ona gel instead of glade plug ins and shit.. so that will stay aroound anyhow..

all good advice here. ^^^

and get a small ozone generator for in the living room area where the caseworker will most likely be. YOu don't want to run them high as too much ozone is not good for you but they WILL eliminate all odors very quickly.

just turn it on an hour or two before she/he is scheduled to arrive.

the key to ozone is if you can smell it. It is too strong.

My filter remove 99,9% of all smell, only time I had friends/family visiting me who could smell it (don't worry they know) was when I just had my tent open for 20 minutes working in there before they arrived

Get a quality filter and add it on a ventilation that match the CMF, make sure you have a negative pressure in the tent so you know all air leaving the tent is trough your filter (make the passive intake holes smaller until you see the tent getting pulled in a inch or so when you zip it up)

on the day the social workers come over, keep the ona gel open out side the tent so it can catch any odor that might escape, keep a few windows open the hours up til the social works arrive, if your still not sure all odor is gone you can always mask/cover it up, make some barbecue or some food that smell up the hole house or lite up some frankincense or smell candles or similar

Yeah I like the cooking idea.
I run oscilatting fans in my livingroom
or the ac when I want to disguise the sound of my room.

Just everyday things hapening like
burnt popcorn.
They may think your too dumb to grow
but thats good. lol

im not running in a tent, Ive got a sump pump room decked out as a grow room, so far its been prefect. but im planning on wraaping it up in panda film, tapeing it all up to seal, and im trying to figure out a way to vent it out side after its been through the scrubber. but im not yet sure how im gonna do that. cause i dont own the house.. Dont worry my land lord doesnt even come when i ask him to..
I dont think i can do the ozone geny, all i have is a lil over 200 bucks till the first unless i get lucky. and im looking to grow blue mystic wich is nuetral smelling or so they say,, so just looking for advice still. thanks
